I got hosted to install my wifi as it was competitive. However the 3 1st three months the bill went to more than £400. and service wasnt responding. The company reinstalled and agreed to cancel the previous fees. They did install services which didnt work for a month. Two monthd down the line they are overcharging and threated if l dont pay they will cancel all services & charge me over £8000 penaly. Quite scarly. I have asked for invoices and request explainations to how to came to the total of invoices. I rather be back with Sky. You know what you are paying.

Good customer service from Max H
I would personally like to review Max H from customer services. He has responded quickly to my query’s to a on going case as a new customer on many occasions. He has been able to help me and keep me updated. This has come as a great relief and has made my view on the company better, as some other members of staff we unable to help or would not get back my emails on several occasions. Max H is now my go to person to get in touch with the company via email rather than the accounts manager or staff over the phone. I am now hopeful my case will be sorted in the next couple of weeks thanks to Max H.

The Hosted company are employing staff who are competent and caring competent. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
Bhumika came to our rescue, despite it not being her usual task, thank you so much.
Previously I sent emails to Courtney, and very unlike her usual way, I had no replies. Today I learned she is Ill in hospital. ( I think someone in the company should monitor her emails as she is not able to come to work.) However, Bhumika instantly understood my needs (needing VAT invoices from Shire Leasing and Vodafone), and came back with what we needed and also supplied a phone number enabling us to contact Shire Leasing directly for their VAT schedule. (phone numbers are not always easy to find)

Mid-sold a 5-year Contract - Lied about being OpenReach, now want over £4,000
Title: Mis-sold a 5-year Contract - implied the call was from Open Reach, now want £4045.54 + VAT
I was called by someone claiming to be from Openreach saying my business phone line was being disconnected due to a ‘mandatory upgrade.’ That was completely false and it was only halfway through the conversation I managed to establish the call was from Hosted and there was no upgrade happening. It was a scare tactic to push me into signing quickly. After listening to the sales call recordings following my SAR request to Hosted, I am absolutely disgusted by their predatory practices. They are nothing more than scam artists taking advantage of their customers.
TheDocuSign contract was blank in the termination fee section. No one mentioned it was a 5 year contract or that I would owe over £4,000 to leave early. These details were buried or left out entirely.
Here’s what they did wrong:
-Pretended to be OpenReach to gain trust (false identity)
-Claimed my line would be cut off unless I upgraded (scare tactic)
-Called it a mandatory upgrade when it wasn’t (deception)
-Didn’t clearly explain the 60 month term
-Hid the real early termination cost
-Presented the contract in a misleading way
I am having to close my business 8 months later and now they want thousands. I am preparing a complaint with the Communications Ombudsman, Ofcom and Trading Standards.
If you’re a small business stay far away from Hosted. I feel completely misled and I know I’m not the only one.
I will update this review if they do the right thing but right now I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

UNDERHANDED Practises - Increased Bill (50%) Without Notifying
Underhanded Business Methods + Refusal to Refund - Please Avoid
Hosted.co.uk added an expensive "CyberProtect" service to my account without consent. They claimed they sent an email notifying me of such but this information was hidden at the bottom of the email that looks suspiciously like a nondescript update.
Key Issues:
- Unauthorised service addition on "opt-out" basis (no such thing in UK law)
- Retroactive billing for service I never requested
- Refused refund despite removing service when challenged
- Incorrectly claimed business customers have no protection rights
- Customer service attitude: dismissive
I had a couple of moments that made me consider their trustworthiness so it's not actually too surprising.
I recommend choose a hosting provider that understands consent/ proper billing practices. There are plenty of alternatives that won't surprise you with unauthorised charges.

Be very aware of the hard sell and the hidden extras they will charge. Also the installation of our new superfast broad band took nearly 2 months to do, we lost incoming calls for a few days and when that was rectified, we could talk to each other on the phones, we could transfer calls, just not tell you who it was calling, oh and, that took another few days to and almost zero support. We did get a tiny credit on our bill....and I do mean tiny

Great service team for customers
I have dealt with various people with Hosted and each one has been extremely helpful with their responses and to answer my queries. I am able to get through quickly on the phone and despite an initial billing issue (which is why a 4 and not a 5) it was resolved. I hope the level of service continues.
