Please, please make sure you know what you are getting into.
We are a New business, talked into product, no cool of period, loss revenue due to service's not working over the Christmas run up, transferred to personal mobile no good if you are not at work that day. WiFi down for orders and payments. To get out of contract (which they have not kept to) quoted £5800!!! Said they would cancel our previous provider, have they no, at our cost. Please make sure you are aware of every detail before signing in fact don't sign!

We upgraded our telephone system from…BT to CityFibre
We upgraded our telephone system from an in-house Avaya provided via BT since 2012. Countless issues caused mainly by BT Local mis-selling each time in not providing a solution which we required and unwilling to correct.
BT contacted us to end the contract early due to ending SIP Lines and wanting us to enter into a new contract.
Contacted CityFibre as we want to get away from BT. Plus I have experienced excellent service from my home connection via CF.
CityFibre provided our details to Hosted. They have installed all the handsets over the last two days together with profiles/hunt groups.
Simon and Tom provided a perfect service and extremely helpful.
Hosted are night/day ahead of BT.

For a communication provider, they are not very good at communicating!
I am writing this review to express my complete despair, upset, and disappointment with Hosted Business Ltd.
We switched from BT on 2nd December, full of hope after being promised a personalised service: a dedicated account manager, a seamless switch, cheaper bills, and support whenever needed. It all sounded ideal. Unfortunately, the reality has been quite the opposite.
Switch day arrived – and we had no phone or internet.
Our internet was not rectified for three days, which meant we could not use our card machine. We are a rural business in the middle of the countryside, so 4G is not an option. During this time, we lost just over £350 in takings.
Our phone line was not sorted for nearly two weeks. Calls were diverted to a mobile, which was completely impractical as there is not always one person at the pub to answer calls. This whole period caused significant disruption and stress.
My dealings with Hosted during this time have been time-consuming, frustrating, and exhausting, including:
• Emails sent with no acknowledgement
• No awareness of my request to make a formal complaint, despite asking twice
• Endless hours on hold, including:
• Being left on hold indefinitely and even past their “open” hours
• Not being told I was going on hold
• Staff coming back to say they “couldn’t hear me” and clearing the line — without ever calling me back
• Being unable to speak to our so-called dedicated account manager despite repeated requests. He was always on holiday, unavailable, on another call, or “about to call me back” — which never happened
• Promised callbacks that did not happen, even after I explained that previous callbacks had already failed
• Asking for a manager to call me back and being told 48–72 hours — it is now nearly three weeks later, and I am still waiting
Everyone I speak to is very polite and understanding, but it feels like I am simply being told what they think I want to hear. One staff member even admitted he gets annoyed when colleagues don’t follow through — yet he himself failed to do what he promised.
I am utterly flabbergasted and at the end of my tether, and I have been with this company for less than a month. This entire switch has left me stressed, upset, and in despair. Our business has suffered financially, and I will never get back the hours I have spent on the phone being passed from pillar to post, with no sense of urgency, genuine care, or competence.
The latest issue:
We have just received a full month’s bill from BT after we joined Hosted. Hosted had assured us they would “take care of everything.” Clearly, BT were not informed. I was told that our contract states Hosted will cover any charges from the previous supplier, so I’ve sent them the bill. I was promised — once again — a call back after it’s discussed with a manager.
We’ll see…
Would I recommend this company? Absolutely not.
Please avoid them. This switch has caused nothing but headaches, stress, and financial loss. We should have stayed put.
Don’t be fooled by the promise of a small company offering a more customer-focused service — that simply has not been our experience. Yes, this is only my experience, but it’s one I’ll be paying for for the duration of my contract. If you’re considering switching to Hosted Business Ltd, I can only ask: why risk it?

Thank you Hosted for your responses. Unfortunately, I do not feel it accurately reflects my experience or addresses the core issues raised in my review.
While Hosted states that they have been in touch and that my feedback is being reviewed, it is disappointing that it took a public review and direct attempts to contact senior leadership for my concerns to be acknowledged in this way. I raised these issues repeatedly during numerous calls at the time they were happening.
Despite requesting on multiple occasions that matters be discussed by phone, I continue to receive lengthy email responses instead, which does little to reassure me and only reinforces my concerns around communication and follow-through.
The issues outlined in my review: delayed service, loss of income, missed callbacks, lack of escalation, and poor communication; remain valid and unresolved from my perspective. Referencing internal records of contact does not change the fact that resolution was slow, stressful, and left me feeling unsupported as a customer.
I am currently still dealing with the financial and administrative consequences of this switch, including billing issues with my previous supplier, which I am now having to resolve myself.
I stand by my review, as it is an honest and accurate reflection of my experience with Hosted Business Ltd. I hope my feedback is genuinely used to improve processes for future customers, as this has been a deeply frustrating experience for our business.

Hosted probably knew this review was coming, and I feel it’s only right to warn others.
Their Sales Team called my 83 year old Grandad in April this year and somehow got him to sign a five-year contract with some fancy technology, for his little run down newsagents, that he’s had since 1982 (closed permanently in May this year to finally retire). He’s an elderly man with no understanding of modern technology, yet they still pushed this contract on him. It was clearly mis-sold, and in my view, he was taken advantage of financially.
After reading some of the negative reviews on here, I can confirm they are accurate. Hosted never mention the extortionate cancellation fees. They issued a High Court writ for £65,000. Yes, £65k. Hosted themselves, called the fee extortionate. Imagine sending that to an 83 year old man, whose sole income is a pension!!!!!
Although Hosted eventually wrote this off (only after I told them my Grandad was suicidal from the stress THEY had caused, got a Solicitor involved & asked for a Data Subject Access request), it is appalling that such a contract was ever sold to an elderly man in the first place.
Regardless of my Grandad being elderly, it’s clear they get you into these long contracts, regardless of age and fail to mention their “extortionate” fees.
I’ve also noticed that their responses to reviews are the same copy and paste robotic replies. It really shows how little care or genuine concern they have for their customers.
I am so thankful I will never ever have to deal with this company again, avoid them like the plague.

We are a charity community centre and agreed to leave our existing suppliers as they would refund the termination fee if £300 for a 3 year contract we signed with them. 5 months later they are denying ever offering that and won’t pay it. Absolutely abhorrent behaviour and we are leaving for breach of contract as thankfully I kept all the emails.
