SCAM ALERT
SCAM ALERT: Do NOT Purchase from HostGinger.in – False Promises & No Refunds
I recently purchased the Node.js Basic Plan from HostGinger.in, where they clearly advertise "Terminal & SSH Access" on all Node.js hosting plans.
🔴 After purchasing, I discovered that Terminal/SSH access is not actually available.
I contacted their customer support, and the agent told me that Terminal & SSH access is only provided with VPS hosting – something that is not mentioned anywhere on their Node.js hosting page.
❗ When I asked for a refund due to this false and misleading claim, I was told:
“Refund is not possible.”
This is a clear case of false advertising and extremely unethical business practice. They are:
Promoting features they do not actually offer
Refusing refunds when customers are misled
Misleading developers and customers into buying unusable services
💡 If you're a developer looking for real Node.js hosting with full access (like SSH), this hosting is completely useless.
🛑 I strongly warn others: DO NOT purchase any Node.js or other hosting/domain services from HostGinger. This company is not trustworthy, and based on my experience, it's nothing short of a scam.
