has anyone got anywhere with getting money back etc for chemicals or service plan or with stopping to pay V12 for th2 finance ?

i had a hot tub from style spas in 2018 with extended warranty for 5yrs now my hot tub has no warranty so i told v12 finance until they sort it out I'm not paying another penny they offered me £625 off the tub and can i make a payment erer!!!! NO keep ya money my tub needs servicing witch should have been done in jan/feb 2021 they said they will look into it this was in jan they called me 2 days ago well guess what looks like i got a free tub as i told them to come get it and ill go else where the refused to collect it they said they don't do things like that well ok !! so hey presto i got me a free tub and v.12 finance go swivel because if i have to pay myself for it to be serviced then so be it at least i got a free tub so all you lot out there cancel your DD there is not a thing they can do and it don't affect your credit rating i know I've checked good luck and happy free tubs look under section 75 consumer act they failed to tell us they gone bust so free tubs all round ENJOY

Style Spas have NOT changed their name to Dreamspas!!!

Just to clear things up regarding comments I have seen stating that Style Spas are now trading as Dreamspas, this is NOT true!!!

I reached out to Dreamspas when I started having problems with my Style Spas hot tub and have nothing but praise for Dreamspas . They have looked after me after Style Spas went bust and have been absolutely fantastic!

They also cleared up why so many people are linking Dreamspas to Style Spas so here goes....

Style Spas Ltd set up business and the company, now known as Dreamspas became a FRANCHISE for them. During this time, they called themselves “Style Spas (South West)”, and you will see on Companies House that the director of Style Spas (South West) is NOT listed as a director on Style Spas Ltd. After Style Spas (South West) started experiencing problems with the Style Spa products, they decided to part company and change their name to Dreamspas, who I now believe sell just Wellis brand, which, if you do your research, are a very good hot tub brand. If you look on Companies House, you will see that they changed their name to Dreamspas, before things with Style Spas started to go downhill.

Please stop slating Dreamspas without knowing the facts as this company is going out it’s way to help customers who didn’t even purchase from them!

absolutely disgraceful. Purchased a tub in 2018, using their 0% finance option. The day it was delivered it didnt work... 3 months after installation and it was fixed.. however I asked for a replacement... they offered 3 years annual service and cover for breakdowns if i kept this tub... what a fool I am! Theyve gone bust. And now trading (again) under a different name. Con people! Finance company are saying I still have to pay, although I'm not getting what I signed up for, its broken down (for the 4th time in under 2 years) so taking it up with the financial ombudsman under the consumer rights act section 75.

Trying to warn anyone not to buy from dream spas, as they will undoubtedly do the same again!

This firm is a joke had a seven seater hot tub it kept tripping the fuse had them out the pump was knackard thsy had put a cheep pump in jake came out said the chemical that thay advised us to use had damaged the cover jake was putting in for a new one quess what Nether got one this company is a joke

Bought a Hot Tub from Style Spas Ltd last year and have had no luck at all in recent months of getting hold of anyone. The Showroom based in Warsop is now closed and any previous employees have set up by themselves. The Company Dreamspas is a completely separate company from Style Spas I have checked their info on companies house, but they have been more than helpful when dealing with any of my queries. They were a franchise partner of Style Spas but parted company over a year ago due to the issues everyone is having on these reviews. My best advice would be to contact your finance company.

They are now trading under Dream Spas, her husband/partner is now conveniently a director and company name has changed according to companies house! Look at google reviews as some of the staff have gone it alone and still do repair work.

Help!!! I left my spa here for them to sell best part of 7ks worth and now i can't get an answer anywhere.
I won't slag them off because they were good with me in fairness.. up until this point.
I am due to go to the police as this is theft I've been told by trading standards thank you for the email address i will try it and see if i get any joy.

Well what a company!!! Having purchased a hot tub nearly a year ago and been in a dispute with Style Spas over having not received my electrical certificate from them, in connection to building regulations, I’ve been taking court action against them since September 2019, which I have received judgement in my favour, having not received my money back from the works that had been done. Now they are trying to close the business down without making payment. Well good luck to them, as I’m hoping they won’t be able to close it down until this has been settled!!

this company has really screwed people over - I smelt a rat when they took down the phone contact number around October last year - I now have a hot tub with no warranty- if anyone wants to contact the director -she is on linkedin - but wont reply so keep an eye out for her when she opens another store in a different name -I will be waiting for her.
also if anyone knows where we can get the spare parts from or filters please post

They did not complete the work as promised and kept delaying due to various problems even having checked the place before hand, they do not want to seem to fix the issues. People are always on holiday or have left the company.

Their only aim is to make false promises then duck any calls and never respond. Would not trust this company is on the verge of bankruptcy and is a total no go!!!

Totally ripped off by this company - have been paying their service plan for almost year and now over £600 out pocket.

Should they ever set back up, I would suggest you stay away.

Purchased last year. Took out plan for chemicals also.

Hot tub issues. Jake came out lasts year. Has made the hot tub even worse. No flow of water out of one seat. Panel screw threaded. Water is now Luke warm.

Unable to contact them at all.

Finance company have just confirmed they are no longer trading. Want to give us £150 for independent inspection, we then have to pay for faults ourself.

Trading standard aware. Will be progressing with them.

Like many others we purchased our tub in 2018 and were talked into the chemical and extended warranty plan. Upon realising they’d ceased trading I cancelled the plan which was annoying as were due a delivery. My concerns now is the warranty, who do we contact?
I’ve tried calling the Bristol showroom and I was told by the new owners who’d bought the business that they are not Style Spas.

Like many of the below I've been paying the direct debit for a plan that's never been seen, stupidity of myself I went for the more expensive plan thinking the yearly clean and services would keep my investment of this product in best condition.

Stay away ... I've cancelled all payments but whoever's been pocketing this cash I hope they get what's coming to them.

We were persuaded to take a ‘chemical replacement’ plan out when we bought our tub from Style Spas in May last year and informed that if we did not use their chemicals then the warranty on the tub would be void. We have paid by direct debit each month only to find that our money was paid in vein and collected under false pretences. Having tried (as it appears many customers have) to contact by phone, email and even chat on line (which is a complete joke!!) it was all to no avail. These jokers have just collected ours and other people’s hard earned cash and got away with it. This should be a job for Trading Standards surely under the mis-selling trades description act?? Whether these people are still in business or not someone has been responsible for the collection of the direct debits !!. At the end of the day we have paid out money in good faith for products that I believe were never going to be delivered. Style Spas you should be ashamed of yourselves !!!!

Having purchased a hot tub in August along with paying a monthly fee for maintenance we have been unable to contact them since All numbers and email addresses are unobtainable. Despite having no issues initially very disappointed with aftercare and would advise anyone to research thoroughly before buying from them. I will be cancelling all payments as the company appears to have ceased trading. If this is not the case can someone from the company contact me

I strongly suggest that this company is avoided. We purchased a spa circa 8 weeks ago, including the aftercare package. After two weeks our tub failed with lights and a panel became loose. We have spent the last six weeks trying to get this company back out to correct the issues we have to no avail. When getting out of the tub today we have had a tingling sensation and reached out to Style Spa’s, asking for urgent assistance, but still waiting for contact from them, even thought they clearly state that they will be in touch within two hours!!

Style Spa you can come and collect your hot tub and refund our £7000 back. Let me know when you will be collecting please?

Joke of a company as one person suggested is being polite!!

Never buy from these people!!

Numerous failed deliveries, broke down after just a week, some 6 weeks later still not fixed. Failed engineer visits and on one occasions was told the staff had walked out!!

Signed up for service agreement at £60 per month, DO NOT SIGN FOR ANY SERVICE PACKAGE!! They're not worth the paper they are written on! State they come out within 24 or 48 hrs, no chance and blah blah blah...

They have now even stopped answering calls and will only take customer service enquiries via email.

I can guarantee a legal claim will be made later today.

Please spend your money elsewhere!
