Poor standard of workmanship

We appointed this company to lay a new patio, believing them to be a competent and professional operation. The work was completed to an appalling standard. The porcelain slabs were laid unevenly and many were chipped during installation. The slabs were grouted using an inappropriate product.
We offered Houghtons the opportunity to rectify the defects but although they offered to carry out some remedial work they have not been prepared to consider the main complaints outlined above.
We would not recommend that this company be employed.
