Hourglow Reviews

Hourglow is a sleep and wellbeing app, made in Southampton, built around the moment most sleep apps forget: 3am. Instead of handing you a library of hundreds of sessions to scroll with your eyes half-open, Hourglow chooses one good thing for tonight — a sleep story, a body scan, guided breathing or a gentle soundscape — and that's the whole decision. If you wake in the small hours, one button takes you to a near-black screen with slow, solo piano and no clock, because nothing should ask anything of you at 3am. Our 90 sleep stories each run at least 45 minutes, read by one narrator at a far slower pace than daylight reading, so the story outlasts you rather than the other way round. The narration is AI-generated and produced entirely by us — we'd rather tell you that plainly than let you assume otherwise. There are no streaks, no scores and no guilt anywhere in the app. The nightly suggestion, the 3am button, morning check-ins and offline listening are free, forever. Hourglow Plus unlocks the full catalogue at £5.99 a month — monthly billing only, a reminder before your free trial ends, and one-click cancelling. No ads, no trackers, ever. Hourglow is a wellbeing product, not a medical one. If sleep is a serious struggle, your GP is the right first step. Questions? support@hourglow.co.uk — a person reads it.See more
