Very polite and explained every thing in layman's terms

As someone who has been lucky enough to not worry about debt, the consequences of a few bad choices in quick succession saw me reach the top of the debt pile, which has been a rollercoaster of a nightmare.

House Buy Fast & more specifically Chris Lunson, have been an absolutely massive help in buying/selling my home in a time of absolute need. I have had to go through many mental slopes to accept the need, and coming out of this breaking even, but to know that this option was there with speed to stop me going bankrupt, was amazing.

Chris has gone above and beyond in listening to me, effectively having small breakdowns on the phone. They didn't just palm me off, but actually listened. Whilst Chris did their due diligence in checking for fraud or if I was being 'played' - which I applaud - they also took time to check I'm doing what's best for myself, and even fought my corner when the underwriters tried to heavily undercut me - which would have likely seen me going bankrupt regardless of the sale.

Yes this is a company to buy a house fast, and of course that means you have to accept a somewhat reduced value compared to market price, but that's what you're getting back in excellent service, and speed in a time of need. This company isn't there to prey on people in a bad spot, but to help them whilst maintaining a small profitability that is required for the nature of the business.

further to my previous review I have gone over there terms and one states:-
"if you accept the offer we will pay for a structural survey of your property. As long as that doesn’t show up any major structural defects not already disclosed to us we will pay the price we offered you. "

Mitch is good at explaining the process from start to finish. He's put my mind at ease with regards to how the sale process goes and another big plus about Mitch, is that he's accessible to respond to any queries. I only give 4 stars because it's early days and I don't want to be too biased hahaha.

Actually surprisingly good. We received an offer not far below market value and sold at that price without any solicitor or legal fees.

Although I didn’t end up selling through HBF (my personal circumstances changed), my interaction with Mitch was excellent. He was professional, polite and always quick to respond. Good communication in any transaction is key and in this case it was faultless.

I cannot talk about the process as I only had an initial and informative call with them, but Duncan was very professional. He explained to me the whole process, their modus operandi and listened to what I am looking for. Based on my needs, he honestly advised me on the best options in case I decided to sell my property through them. I appreciated the frank and honest conversation.

Terrible experience. They don’t reply to emails or phone calls, zero customer service, my contract with them ended in October 2023 , and I am still getting texts asking me to reduce the price! Hardly any viewings arranged. Valuable time and money lost whilst waiting to be out of contract and go back to the high street. Shambolic

A waste of time, you'll end up chasing them we lost valuable time with them and sold when we went back to the high street.
I wouldn't recommend them they also lie and fluff information. The only positive was the solicitors they use which we retained when we sold through the high street.

We'd like to thank Duncan at house purchase fast for his help. He and everyone else at house purchase fast were very professional and courteous. We needed to sell our house quickly in order to buy our dream family home, and Duncan helped us do just that, although at a reduced price. If you need to sell quickly for cash, I cannot recommend them highly enough. I was always leery of companies like these, but they assisted us in obtaining the home we had fell in love with.

We went to House Buy Fast when the sale of our property fell through due to the buyer chaging their minds.

We were commited to a new build property that was our dream family home, that we did not want to lose.

House Buy Fast made us an acceptable offer and we were so happy that it completed at the agreed price.

The whole transaction completed in just under two weeks, thank you so much the whole team were so accomodating and empathetic in these tough times we were encountering.

This company does not know how to treat customers with the respect they deserve. False promises from beginning oh then no end!!

I have given one star because there is no option to leave them with none. Stay well clear. They are looking to buy your property at well below and I mean well below (i.e. by 40%) less than what it’s actually worth.
They try anything to devalue your property by comparing it with none comparable and cheapest property ever sold in your street. Another tactic is take you to exchange of contract state and then pull out so as to lower the price when you are desperate. Be aware !!

From start to finish the team made selling our house so easy. The communication at every step was amazing, always updating me before I asked. I never realised using an online estate agent could be so easy. They organised every aspect of the sale and viewings perfectly and took the stress out of selling. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone, and already have!

A very good response, I was given two option and we have asked for further details on one which should be with us in the next few days. It was far better talking to some one so we could explain exactly what we wanted and when, and to be treated with politeness and understanding of our circumstance was very refreshing in these present days

Mario was incredibly transparent and forthcoming with all information about the process and details right from the get go.
He really made the difference, after having a bad experience that left my mother in a very difficult situation, House Buy Fast was suggested to me and they were fantastic from the get go.
Selling a house under any circumstance is stressful but it was nice to have someone on the other side who was being honest and genuinely helpful and not out to do anyone over.
Would absolutely recommend their services and cannot thank Mario enough for his help.
