We had been looking for a long time for a large, lightweight, attractive wall hanging that we would place on a wall over an electrical box in our home. We were thrilled to find House of Koyomi’s wide selection of Asian-themed artwork. We had so many choices, it was difficult to decide. We chose the Samurai, and we are very pleased with it. I was concerned that once it was sized to XXL, it would lose its resolution or some aspect of its beauty. This did not happen. And the canvas print with wood frame only weighs about six and a half pounds. We are also very happy with the two free smaller pieces that came as a gift along with our purchase. The customer service was also excellent. I highly recommend House of Koyomi.

Story time.

I was casually browsing Instagram one day when I came across a reel from House of Koyomi. I instantly followed because I was so captivated by how beautiful and meaningful their artwork was. I browsed through their website and found a particular piece that really spoke to me. I was already planning to order it when, well… life happened, and you need to prioritize your family’s needs.

Then one day, I saw that House of Koyomi was hosting a giveaway. Of course, I joined and said a little prayer, even though I knew the chances of winning were slim.

Then came the day I saw that I had been tagged. I WON… 🥹

And honestly, I couldn’t believe it. It felt too good to be true!

More than just receiving beautiful pieces of art, this giveaway means so much to me at this stage of my life. Being in a foreign country, away from family and everything familiar, can be incredibly difficult. These past few years have taught me that sometimes, even the smallest acts of kindness can mean so much.

House of Koyomi has been incredibly generous, and I’m truly grateful for these beautiful gifts. I will cherish them wholeheartedly and, even though we’re renting here in Canada, I’ll make sure to put them up and have them become part of our story.

Thank you so much, Celeste and everyone at House of Koyomi, for your generosity and for creating such beautiful pieces that bring warmth and meaning into people’s homes.

HoK have now got back to me with an acceptable resolution and explanation as to what has gone wrong. They have assured me that this was a very unusual case, so don't be deterred. I have updated my review score accordingly.

The product is lovely and great quality.

However, the aftercare has been diabolical. I received a customs charge from FedEx shortly after receiving the canvases I had ordered because House Of Koyomi incorrectly filled in their customs forms. On the HoK website it states there will be "no customs duties or surprise fees" for UK customers (where I am based). This is a lie! It has been nearly a month and several hours of my personal time trying to get a resolution to this issue with both Koyomi and FedEx and there is currently no end in sight. Response times from Koyomi have been poor and I have had to repeatedly chase them for updates after periods of silence lasting a week at a time. At this rate I will need to pay the nearly GBP30 out of my own pocket or I will be subject to debt collection proceedings from FedEx. Entirely unacceptable for what amounts to an administrative error.

Think carefully before using this company, you have been warned.

My pieces always arrive in impeccable condition. I usually order canvas and the high quality and craftsmanship are outstanding. Their customer service team is very prompt and attentive. Highly recommend decorating your home or office with House of Koyomi!

I reached out with concerns about delivery. They responded quickly and reassuring. Not only did I receive my prints, but they were GORGEOUS. Super proud and will order more when we move.

Very nice art overall. Ordered "true nature", size was L. Not disappointed with the sharpness at all. Quality of the material seems very good (canvas). Shipping took a bit, but not too long at all (about 1 or 2 weeks). It's all made per order, so it makes sense it takes a bit of time. Price is acceptable, although I didn't order the art work with a frame. This makes it obviously more expensive.
