Mixed feelings
Delivery was quicker than I expected.
This is not the best Petit Verdot wine I have tasted, (Australia produces better wines of this grape variety), but left open for a couple of hours before drinking, there is a noticeable improvement.
Would I buy French Petit Verdot again? Probably not.

We are constantly sourcing different, individual wines that are sometimes a little off the beaten track, and when we tasted this wine in France last year,we asked for it to be bottled as an individual varietal as opposed to being included as part of a blend. It has been very well received but we do appreciate and welcome your thoughts…and we certainly agree with you – Australia produces some fabulous Petit Verdot’s. Unfortunately we don’t have one at the moment, the last one we shipped is no longer available, but we are always on the look out. Many thanks, House of Townend

When I first tried to order on line I had a few problems (caused by internet issues at my end) . When I spoke to someone they were really helpful and when I tried again I managed to order. The wine arrived within a very short time despite the fact that I live in the Highlands and was exactly as I had requested - very efficient service all round - would thoroughly recommend. I haven’t tried the wine yet but having been given some earlier this year I am looking forward to sampling this again.

Excellent service and price
So happy with this wine merchant. Never heard of them or used before but the reviews were good, so I gave them a go.
Bought our favourite English sparkling wine, which was far cheaper than I could find anywhere else.
Was delivered 2 days after placing my order with no issue what so ever.
