Save yourself the pain and buy from somewhere else.

I received my hoverboard which was a Christmas present for my son only to find out that it was faulty and violently jumped when you got off the board to the point it actually went through our dining room wall. On top of this the Tao Tao app would not connect.
They couldn't replace it in time for Christmas so they agreed for me to use it and then replace the item after Christmas.
It took an age for the item to get back to their desired place which turned out to be in Germany but as long i was going to get a new working product i was prepared to wait.
Today the hoverboard has been returned to me and they have not replaced it and had the cheek to say that the hoverboard is water damaged and it must have been driven through puddles or in the rain which is absolute garbage. Added to the fact that it is advertised as the all terrain hoverboard its a joke in itself.
Now i am told that they have only repaired it as a goodwill gesture so basically doing me a huge favour and that the warranty is void despite it never working from the day i purchased it.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY BUY FROM ELSEWHERE. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROVIDE FAULTY PRODUCTS!!

Faulty good was still under warranty …

Faulty good was still under warranty struggled to get in touch with manager or owner of the site just done go near ended up with trading standers also told me that they closed them down in Edinburgh for same thing now they are trading down in London! Don’t buy from them
Oh and also blocked me on social media aswell so that said it all!

Thank you for your review, we really do appreciate it!

In answer to your queries, we have always been trading from London but we did have a repair centre in Edinburgh. Trading Standards in Edinburgh recommended we made some changes to the battery circuits used on the hoverboards in 2015, these changes were recommended across the whole hoverboard industry. We spent a huge amount of effort and time developing better, safer and more durable circuits and components with our manufacturers to achieve these recommendations. These have been in place since 2015 and we have not stopped trading since then.

Your item was purchased in 2016, unfortunately this meant that some of the components of your hoverboard were no longer covered by the manufacturers warranty as it was outside the time period offered - we explained this to you and advised that even though these were no longer covered we would be happy to collect the item and repair it in our repair centre.

Unfortunately, you made the decision to have the item repaired elsewhere which did void the warranty and we are sorry that this was the case.

Nevertheless, we thank you for your time in writing this review and we will continue to strive for great customer service.
