after about a year trying to get my printer to work I gave up. I could not set it up and customer service would not help. I bought an Epson and had it working in under 5 minutes. I gave a 1 because there was no 0
I just contacted the help desk and I am NOT impressed. I just bought an HP 2800 series printer and was overjoyed that it was an HP product. But you need to know what I experienced when I contacted the help desk. I was immediately connected to the site. I was then in an instant chat with a tech person and at the same time I had an HP page come up asking for my credit card number! I quickly asked the tech if there was a charge for their services and he said “if it’s a quick fix connection then no”. We then started talking about the problem I was having and he then said “there is a one time charge of $79.00”. I was shocked. I’ve just reopened my business and have spent every dollar I have and to be told I have to pay for their services on a new printer blew me away! I told him I couldn’t afford their services and left the page. Ladies and gentlemen if you buy a new printer for your business, use the quick setup program again and you will be connected in a few minutes. I’m giving HP a 1 out of ten. This is not what I would expect from a highly rated company and one that I had a rapport with years ago. Incredibly disappointed.
Gini
I have dealt with HP printers only since they first came out. That is a long time.
Until this year when my all in one printer all of a sudden would no longer hook up to HP for my instant ink service and that went on for over four months. Yet they would not refund any of my money for those months.
On numerous occasions even with a rep going on my computer remotely could not get it working and I have a good internet service. Then the last few attempts I made last month the service would not accept the pin provided with the printer that worked for 6 months at least.
The printer I purchased is brand new and I have two others as well one also brand new and one years old.
The pin provided and all other functions will not run properly as of the day the one year warranty ran out. Imagine that and for the whole year nothing but printing problems one after the other, constantly having to set it up again and again on my fully functional windows 11. You cannot even run the installation of any of the printers without the HP Smart app.
As well I have never been able to use refilled un instant ink cartridges originally sold with the printer. It says they are counterfeit so they expect me to pay hundreds of dollars for ink every two months without the instant ink on all printers.
This is a scam and not very customer friendly at all. For the years of services and thousands and thousands of dollars I have spent on their printers over the years.
To them who cares. RIGHT HP?
I am so frustrated. I am on disability and for over thirty years have provided my income tax preparation services for free to low income, homeless and seniors everywhere I have lived and cannot afford another new printer but have not been able to send the very urgent documents by fax even on my own printer. I have not been able to scan documents for a very long time. For a whole year of service I paid $138.29 for instant ink and printed 553 pages from the 6450 I paid for and that is because the printer would not work most of the time. I paid over 90$ or more for that printer. 80 for the other one I have printed maybe 5 times off of because the introductoru=y ink does not last at all and the refilled cartridges could not be used. Another whole year for that one and is useless to me. No refund at all will they give me . They gave me April month for free when I could not even use the printer. How special is that?
Great Headset Not so Great Customer Care
The Headset is great, or should I say was great when it worked, but the customer service is the worst, When I called HP to exchange the defective 6M cable, my Reverb G2 was still under warranty, nothing got resolved, never got the 6M cable, and the warranty ran out. That's 1 year of trying to no avail. So I basically have a HP $1000 product which has been collecting dust since. HP doesn't care about their customers but they do love the money. They don't even answer your emails. 5 stars is for the product only, for Customer Care -5 Stars. All that because of a cable, HP did you get that? A 6M Cable that I was even ready to pay for, but they said it's unavailable for me to buy but it was for new customers and businesses. WOW Major Facepalm.
P.S. This is the exact review that I posted on the Hp review site but got an email saying,
