I have been very impressed with the customer service so far. I was able to try a wide range of chairs and was given detailed information about all of them. Once a chair was chosen, I was able to try it out and was given a lovely cup of tea and some biscuits.

Enjoyed coffee and biscuits while sitting in chair. Delighted that disabled toilet is also available.

Excellent customer service.
As soon as my friend and I walked through the door we were greeted by two friendly, welcoming staff. I explained I was looking for a bed and we were taken to the bed area. We were sat down in armchairs and given a lovely coffee and biscuits to enjoy whilst the beds were demoed. Then I tried beds out. At no point did I feel pressured into hurrying or making a decision. I decided on a bed and it was delivered and installed five days later by very polite, friendly staff. I am now getting a proper night's sleep.
Added bonus, there is customer parking right outside the shop door!

Brilliant service at Formby branch
Outstanding service from Jenny and Sue at the Formby branch. They were friendly and informative and went above and beyond to ensure we found the right sofa and chairs for our needs. The showroom was spotless and a pleasure to browse. Highly recommended.

Visited Formby shop on three occasions.Every time and every member of staff was professional, informative and friendly.They spentime discussing every aspect of my proposed purchase.Karen emailed me further details and sent out fabric swatches which helped greatly. Purchased an Ercol Kimble settee and all three staff came together to guide me through the finance paperwork . Well done to all the staff I was lucky enough to meet and to reassure Karen next time I will have a cuppa with the friendliest team I have ever met.Well done to the staff at Formby.Cheers Paul x

Kaz wery friendly and informative. She explained clearly all the options and how the chair is designed to fit my measurements and meet my needs. All the staff were extremely welcoming and I was made totally at ease. Great experience

This was our second purchase
This was our second purchase. This time we bought a 3 seater settee. The shop staff were very knowledgeable and kind. The delivery men, Alex & Shane were very pleasant, efficient and quick. The only downside is that we had to wait 10 weeks for delivery, but the chairs are made with your choice of material.

An excellent experience
An excellent experience. I went looking for a recliner armchair that would properly support my back after being diagnosed with Lumbar radiculopathy. We were assisted by Louisa who was very helpful, explaining all the options available and I was able to try different sized armchairs, discovering I need a ‘Petite’ chair to properly support my back. Both Louisa and her colleague were very helpful & friendly.

Great experience in the shop, friendly and professional staff.
Lee & Graham who delivered and assembled the sofa and chair arrived when expected and made an excellent job of assembling it. They were polite and knowledgeable.
I would definitely recommend HSL.
