Could not have wished to meet 2 more friendly & helpful people,nothing was too much trouble for them.On their sound advice,what we thought we were looking for was not suitable & they guided us through our options.As promised they also brought tea & biscuits!

I am very pleased indeed to have chosen HSL, a company I have known for many years and while still waiting for the chair, I know it will be of excellent quality and how good it is to BUY ENGLISH!!
Bethany and her driver (Fred?) were both very good company and there was no pressure to buy.

We had a home visit from Gill and Grahame who were very friendly and helpful. To have a company that brings furniture to your home to try out for comfort and fit is extraordinary and they deserve 5 stars for that alone. Gill and Grahame were so patient, very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend HSL Chairs.

Excellent service from the comfort specialist Saffron at the maidstone branch of HSL looked at the needs of my motherand was very patient with her resulting in us buying two sofas and a chair that was suitable for her needs I would recommend this store and thank you Saffron you are a credit to HSL.

No pusheness and Gilly engaged with my wife about her needs and she meet Jane's requirments. Totaly proffsonall and plesent.

The two representatives that i had come to me were Charlotte and Grahame the were very friendly and helpful they explain everthing to me it was a pleasurable expiance, i would recommend HSL company to anyone.

Went to Maidstone branch to buy a bed on 14th February, went through everything with advisor Louise and returned home to think about all the options given on the quote.
After a discussion we decided to go ahead and purchase the bed. Louise wasn’t working the day we went back 25th February 2026 so continued our purchase with Sue who updated the quote to exactly what we’d decided on. Nothing was too much trouble and when we were completely happy we made the purchase. We can’t wait to receive our bed in approximately 6 weeks.

The sales lady at the Maidstone Branch, Makelia Saka, was extremely helpful in helping my mother find the right chair for her needs. Mum is very small and needed a chair to suit her. We thought we would have a couple of choices, but in fact there were several to choose from, such is their specialist nature. We would definitely recommend their services.

From walking into the Maidstone store to the installation of our sofa in our home the experience with HSL was exceptional. The staff at the Maidstone store were genuinely charming, especially Gill who took us around the sofas relevant to our needs. She answered all questions clearly, gave us time to wander round to make our choice and explained the ordering process thoroughly. I cannot fault her customer service expertise. A note too for the two lads who delivered the sofa, who were respectful, cheerful and installed the sofa perfectly. All in all the best purchases experience we have had in a long while, thank you.
I should also add the delivery and installation was extremely good, as is the sofa itself. Altogether an excellent experience.

After having searched in vain for several weeks at other furniture stores, we have just bought a lovely 3-seater sofa from HSL at Maidstone. We found the staff really friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. We were able to choose from many different styles of sofas and fabrics etc, all of a very high quality. Importantly, we have at last found the good lumbar support and comfort that the seats of our new sofa provide.
We can't recommend this store highly enough! Thank you.

We visited HSL Maidstone to view recliner chairs for my father. We were met by Gill and were shown a selection of chairs, ensuring the correct size was fitted for him and enabling my father to test each one at his own pace. Gill was extremely helpful and very supportive explaining the functions to my father to assist his decision. Gill was absolutely wonderful and my father left very happy looking forward to the arrival of his new chair. Thank you Gill and HSL for such excellent service.

Chair came really quickly and arrived in great condition. The delivery team, Martin and Leon, kept me updated on arrival time and were polite, informative and set the chair up perfectly.

had a home demo from HSL with Charlotte,Grahame and Ken. they were all very friendly and knowledgeable. answered all my questions and went through all options without any pressure.quality of chair was exceptional with the added bonus of being very reasonably priced. had no hesitation in ordering chair from them.

Great service received in store when selecting a Riser recliner chair, found a fabric that matched our other furniture. The chair was then made to order and delivered in just over three weeks although originally advised eight to ten weeks due to Christmas. Arrangement made for delivery to suit, which turned out to be first of the day. Martin & Leon brought the chair in and set it up just in the right place. They took time to check it over and run through the functions. They were friendly and polite and very helpful. I am sure we will enjoy the chair and it will make life easier.

Legs on sofa have been changed 4 times are constantly comming loose , making sofa wobbly. Would not buy from them again . Was told last time fixed it woukdnt happen again but it does constantly. Jusr adults in house so not as if being jumped on . Not up to the job !!

Excellent experience good advice re the best type of chair. No pressure to buy and Saffron was very patient and receptive to my mother’s needs. Nice layout in showroom and choice of chairs.
