The lady advisor at the Rayleigh branch was very hospitable & personable. My mum was treated wonderfully. Advisor was extremely helpful & polite, we were treated to a cup of tea too. All in all 10 out of 10 to the advisor & for her service. Thank you.

The staff member was very knowledgeable about different sizes of chairs and wether I should have one or two motors. She took time to make sure that the chair was the correct size . We were not pressured in any way and could take as long as we liked. Plus we had a lovely cup of tea .

Although Emma was our main point of contact her manager was just as helpful. No hard sales just helpful advice. Very pleasant ladies.

We visited the showroom two times, a month apart.
The environment was calm and welcoming, leaving us to browse at our leisure without being hassled by staff. When we required assistance the staff were helpful explaining the importance of the chairs supporting the different areas of our bodies. We were offered drinks. We looked at the different fabrics available and were provided with a few samples and a brochure to take home. On our second visit we were welcomed by the same salesperson who had remembered our names from our previous visit which was a surprise to us. We had agreed which chairs we thought would be best for us but not the fabric and spent a long time looking at the different choice of fabrics again. The ordering process was a little slow ensuring the different options making up our choice of chairs was correct. The staff at all times were available and not overbearing. We enjoyed our visits.

Emma was great lovely customer service by Emma and her colleague. Tea and biscuits great atmosphere no rush will definitely recommend to friends and family. Can’t wait for my new furniture.

Really kind, patient and knowledgeable staff. No rush no pushy sales tactics, Emma made us feel nothing was too much trouble and we got the right chais for our individual needs.

Customer services was good explained everything that we needed to know about the bed we enquired about, let examine the bed by letting us try it out to see if is was what was needed for our needs, we were happy with HSL service the assessment was excellent

We visited the Southend HSL showroom(which is actually in Rayleigh) and the service we received was absolutely first class. Ann, the assistant who greeted us was friendly helpful and knowledgeable and had seemingly endless patience while we tried different chairs before finding the right ones for us.Well done HSL.

The staff at Southend were extremely helpful and supportive and ensured my specific needs were met. They stayed beyond closing time to make sure the order could be completed on time.

Visited the Eastwood showroom this morning . Mum needed a couple of fireside chairs . Nothing was too much bother , Tracey was exceptionally understanding and helped making sure mum chose the right height/size chair . We were even offered coffee and biscuits. A lovely experience all round . Thankyou Tracey .

The assistant Jasmine, was very friendly, informative and knowledgeable. We felt not at all rushed. She discussed all the various options according to my mum's needs and let her try everything Mum wanted to look at. Very, very happy with the service and the price. Would highly recommend!

Sales experienced was excellent. The range available, quality, choices for finish are all great and the riser/ recliner chair was even delivered earlier than the 12 weeks originally advised. But the shine really comes off at delivery when the owner has to put it together and set up. My elderly mother in law luckily had a maintenance man at her care home that could help her. For the price and experience, I really would have expected this finishing touch to be part of the service.

The sales person Ann at your Southend (Raleigh) store was excellent! Personable, professional and knowledgeable. We had lots of questions and queries as our needs were fairly specific and Ann answered them all with patience and a smile. The whole experience was very pleasant and Tracey’s coffee and tea was spot on thank you very much.

My wife and I visited the shop in Rayleigh Essex and was shown around by Jasmine .She was very caring and professional took time to listen to our needs and gave us time to try different chairs. At no time did she pressure us for a sale. We ended buying two chairs which she believed suited our needs on which we both agreed.

Took my elderly indecisive parents to the Southend store to look at a couple of chairs and thanks to the fantastic advice and patience of Jasmine (working on her own) who took time and answered all their questions and concerns, they now have 2 chairs that will make their lives so much better. Given all the information on how the chair works, all the ins and outs about the material. Ann the lady who sold me the chair was very knowledgeable very friendly nothing was too much trouble showing me different chairs.

I had an appt at the Rayleigh store and was greated with smiles from two lovely ladies and immediately offered a drink. I sat down in a comfy chair and we all had a chat about my budget and physical issues as well as general chat. Ann helped me chosing my chairs, she knew dependant on cost I wanted to replace at least one of my tired DFS chairs, two if budget allowed. We spent alot of time moving from chair to chair, she expressed concern one wasn’t supporting my neck correctly, I knew another didn’t have the right back support. We tried one motor, two motor, and 4 motors, but I decided I probably wanted manual. The moment I sat in the Ripley Grande chair, we both knew that was the one with manual recliner (tested on the sofa). Ann knew I currently had leather but I liked the display fabric, we looked at others in same B price range, but I decided on that one. The price enabled me to buy 2 chairs so I could swap them every few months as I live alone. I decided to get the protection covers for one and care package for both (no pressure to buy either). I was in the store over 2 hours, it was a lovely experience, more like a social coffee morning where I happen to buy chairs! No hard sell, no push towards more expensive options, I felt relaxed, in control, and valued as a customer. I am still 4-6 weeks until delivery, so can’t comment on that yet, but so far very happy. Highly recommended!

We first visited the showroom ( Rayleigh ) and were
Impressed by the Sales Lady ( Tracey ) because she
appreciated the Mobility issues we have to achieve .
So much so that , after looking elsewhere , we had no
reluctance in returning to the showroom to discuss
with Tracey . Which convinced us to place a order for
the product we needed ( A 3 Motor adjustable Chair ).
