SCAMMERS DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS…

SCAMMERS DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SHOP.
I ordered a laptop for my son. It did not arrive. Tried to contact the company many times but no response.
The online shop is HST but the payment goes to Secure Data Recycling.
Google now says HST is permanently closed. I have lodged a dispute with my bank to try and get my money back.

Buyer beware!

Ordered a laptop on 5th December 2024. Laptop did not arrive. Contacted them on 16th December 2024. Reply on 17th December 2024 said the are waiting for their suppliers. Since then no answers from emails or calls and no laptop. Scam!

Cheerful, helpful, super efficient

From my first telephone I was greated with a lovely cheerful voice and Julia, I hopenI gather name right was able to advise me on exactly whatnI needed. I knew I was in safe hands. The order was delivered two days later and I was not dissapointed. Computer, and monitor are fabulous. Thanks to all.

HST are amazing

We bought a computer from HST for my son's Christmas present and unfortunately (through no fault of theirs) the power button stopped working. They agreed to fix it at no charge as it was still within warranty, which was great. Then I asked them to put it in a new case and see if they can add any upgrades (as they had the PC anyway) and they upgraded it and transferred it to the new case without arguing at all and because they are massive computer-building specialists they were able to upgrade it easily at a fraction of the cost! Amazing service and great value for money on top of that. Jo at customer service was great. I would recommend them again without question.

Really great local company

Really great local company, we bought a customisable gaming computer for my son so he can upgrade the graphics card as he grows with it, knowing this company is local to us was a big Yes, and their customer service is spot on. Thank you for being so helpful and knowledgable! I’ll recommend you to all the school mums!

can't fault HST

Best ever company, I have dealt with, communication spot on- Jo Hague is a fantastic Customer Service Advisor.
Despite of us having an IT incumbent, I used HST and have purchased 5 machines so far. HST really know how to place themselves in the market for quality, communication and price

I bought a PC bundle in the sales…

I bought a PC bundle in the Black Friday sales and received it on the 28th November 2022. Great value for money. It was all working great until a week ago and the Hard drive was consistantly repairing disk errors. It finally stopped working on Monday 23rd January. Contacted them and I was asked to send the whole thing back. I ran a diagnostics test that is as far as the HD would go. Knowing my way around the insides of a PC I knew it was just a HD failure and gave them the error code, so we agreed that HST would just send out a new HD. Received it today 27th January. Although the HD failed it is a risk you take when buying refurb computers. I can honestly say they have bent over backwards to get me the new HD and I am thrilled at their customer service. Thank you so much guys, back working again.

Excellent service, great value product

Clear website, great value products, easy to order. The gaming PC was a Christmas present for my son and his first PC. It arrived in good time, well packaged and the product was fantastic value looking as new (as well as the actual new components of course!)
I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to give my son a PC as new ones were way out of our budget and buying a reconditioned one made me nervous with so many products out there not as described. Service was absolutely perfect, thank you for making my sons Christmas extra special. I will be recommending to all my friends with kids needing their first PCs.

Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost! I Bought a computer F3 red G series upgraded storage 1TB. I only received 200GB!! And the computer stopped working after 3 months !!! Tried calling/ sending emails so many times with no response!
Absolute waste

We have 1 email on record sent to us on 5/3/22 and We replied to that on 6/3/22 at 10.50am asking you for a screenshot of the disc management screen to confirm the 1TB was installed, you did not reply to this email. We have had no other contact from you.

I can confirm after looking at the build sheet, you did receive a 240SSD and a 1TB HDD as per your order.

I find your review very disingenuous.

Fantastic service ..PC wasn't working at all dropped it off and within 2 hrs called us to arrange pick up at no charge ..and on their last day of work for Christmas..so a very merry Christmas to all at hst thankyou

Excellent, l would recommend!

Received my computer 3 days ago from HST, absolutely great, well packaged, great delivery, only 5 days after l ordered with an upgrade l requested.
First time l turned it on it was already for me to go, all the equipment was great and l was very impressed.
I would recommend this company to everyone and will use again in the future.

Super easy, super helpful, happy customer

We were in need of some simple inexpensive PC's for our expanding office team. Customer service was swift and efficient. When we were installing them we mistakenly threw away the Wifi dongle in the packaging which they generously offered to send a replacement for free of charge! Will be going back with our next office based tech requirements.

HST Amazing Customer experience.

I purchased a PC from HST after saving for a long time after being homeless for 7 years, I'd finally gotten a flat and wanted to get back online and studying to get my Cisco certification, because of my circumstances they even hooked me up with a free monitor because financially I wasn't able to get one for a few months.
Because of HST's amazing customer service I'm now on the path to getting my life back and couldn't be happier, thank you! =)

I recently purchased a back to school…

I recently purchased a back to school computer system from HighSpec Tech and had an issue with the DVD multi-writer, it would not open, I contacted Jane via online chat, she organised a replacement to be sent out straight away, when it arrived it was a DVD rom, I contacted Jane again and she told me that the system did not stipulate a DVD muti-writer but she would look into it. A DVD multi-writer was sent out to me straight away. The system works well and comes with everything including a web cam and
Wi-Fi dongle. I cannot fault customer service and would recommend anyone purchasing a refurbished computer to consider using HighSpec Tech.

Poor customer service

I made a purchase from HST of desktop pc. The first product delivered had major cosmetic faults. I wonder how someone didn't see them before sending the product out. They had to swap for another one-which I found fair- but the item wasn't better neither so I had to return both products. The worst is their customer service, they don't communicate nothing at all.e.g I have to mail them a week later so that they can confirm that they have received the returned products while I had a tracking number and images showing that the products were delivered the next day I sent them. It's only about week later and after my mail to them that they responded stating they have received the item and I have to wait for up to 30 days to get my money back ... From MY experience their products qualities are not the best and the customer service doesn't communicate that much.
