I ordered a black iPhone 16
I ordered a black iPhone 16. When it arrived the box was for a black iPhone 16. It was all correctly sealed. When I opened it, it contained an old white iPhone 7 that had someone’s image on it from somewhere in Asia.
On opening it, I immediately requested a refund and after several web chat exchanges was accused of pocketing the iPhone 16 and effectively scamming the company.
I had to raise a dispute with PayPal in 3 and go through a laborious process of “proving” that this was not the case. Fortunately I was able to provide evidence based on the iPhone 16 activation date which was weeks before I bought it. The company had videoed the package being prepared for sending and claimed this was proof that they sent an iPhone 16.Eventually PayPal agreed with me and arranged a refund.
It could be that the company was the victim of a scam from their suppliers but the way they treated me as a criminal was completely out of order.

customer purchased iPhone 16 from us , we have used special next day delivery to securely deliver customer order , customer falsely claimed he opened a box found there is iPhone 7 . We have provided video evidence we have sent you brand new sealed Item . Even customer accept it he received sealed item, don’t know what was happened . We explained to our respected customer we been trading all reputed platforms like Amazon eBay , we have thousands of reviews on these platform . we are 100% sure we have sent right item . But in spite of all the proofs and in goodwill gesture, we fully refunded to customer, but still he left negative feedback for us. This is unfair with us.
