Huawei GT3-Pro

Wow, I wish I’d read these reviews on TrustPilot before buying my GT3-Pro smartwatch from the Huawei website. So many people with a negative experience dealing with this company, now I can count myself as one of them.

And Huawei don’t even bother replying or trying to sort out these problems, which goes to show what bad customer service you get from a company that just doesn’t care.

Anyway, I just got to let people know, the ECG function on the GT3-Pro doesn’t work in the UK. I specifically bought the watch to monitor and manage a health concern I have with my heart. There are so many positive reviews and articles on the internet regarding the ECG, that I had to have it.

Unfortunately, that main selling point, that deal-breaking reason why I chose it over any other model DOESN’T WORK. I don’t like returning things for a refund if the item isn’t faulty, but on this occasion, I tried their customer services to see if this was possible, as I felt a bit hard done-by (false representation and all that). They said I could return it, but they would NOT issue a 100% full refund, as their website doesn’t advertise the ECG. But my argument is, their website doesn’t explain clear enough THE ECG FUNCTION DOESN’T WORK IN THE UK.

The SPo2 and heart rate monitor appear quite accurate (other devices give similar readings), but the step counter registers steps just by swinging your arms, so that’s useless.

Huawei ( do not buy from huawei web site ( on line )

I bought huawei watch gt3 pro seramic, from huawei web site direct in the uk, after one month and 15 days, on bit fall out of the seramic strap ( even though we looked after the watch perfectly very well), the strap become undone, and we couldn't wear the watch any more, the nightmare started, when we start calling the customer service ( on the website) to let them know that we need another strap as the watch is still under the warranty and the faulty strap is not our fault, first answer was by their phone staff is: the strap is not under the warranty ( to buy new strap cost £260 ) , it took me in a long process and lot of telephone call calling them, and going physically as well to their branch in Wembley to show them the watch to assess that its not my fault, , ( Wembley aknowldge its not my fault )
By the way, Wembley branch staff are very friendly and helpful, but , its not their fault as we didn't buy the watch from them, but from huawei online website).
Dealing with Their staff on the phone were we bought the watch from ( on line ) are upsolutly no experience what so ever, they don't know what they talking about , and sorry to say, they usless , with lot of talk and no solution, ( when i explain to them, they answer like automated answers machine which it doesn't make any sense , sorry but thats what happen ), i have been waiting now nearly a month, and nothing has been done, please do not buy this watch direct from huawei web site( on line ) , their service is terrible.
I am still waiting for solution, and willing to take this matter further cuz the watch cost me £500 to buy.

Awful company and poor quality products

I had sent Matebook 13 laptop in for a warranty repair as it appeared the hinge failed. The company dealing with the warranty claim SBE Ltd were useless and it's not the first time I've dealt with them. There was no physical damage anywhere on the laptop but Huawei refused the warranty repair as this is something they don't cover under their warranty, I was instead given a quote for the repair.

When I put in a complaint to Huawei I was told that the damage was i quote 'man-made' and the hinge had been bent so they couldn't do anything. I opened up the laptop myself and noticed that there was no bend in the hinge as Huawei claimed and in fact the hinge was fine, it was the laptop casing that was cheaply made and had failed so the hinge couldn't be screwed onto it. I have forwarded this evidence onto Huawei but they've ignored my emails.

It seems that the hinge issue on Huawei's laptops is a common fault but they don't want anything to do with it. Avoid this company as their customer service is appalling and couldn't care less about their customers! I have bought many Huawei products in the past but will not buy anything further from this company.

Disgraceful

Disgraceful, Monitor sound bar not working and unable to get it repaired as they can't sort out a collection. Telling me lies on a daily basis. Blaming DPD and DHL for there own mistakes. They promise a 10 day Repair service but they hid the fact that it may take 1-3 months for them to collect the item first. Congratulations Huawei, you deserve the world least competent company award. Utter Useless, DO NOT BUY THERE PRODUCTS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! Reporting to Watchdog - Chat support will close the chat if you ask for an update

Terrible service

I have been waiting a week for my phone to be sent back to Huawei for repair under warranty.
I have phoned more than 4 times and heard nothing but false promises.
In this time I have had no phone as it has been sitting packed up ready for uplift.
Terrible service and unbelievably frustrating.

I am user of Huawei p30 Pro I was impressed by this phone but after all updates what made this phone no longer good for use quality of all phone functions is pure worse thing no one gives you choice do you want this update or no you have to do and no matter you like or not. Phone glitch slow and photo quality becomes very pure even photo editing reduces photos quality. A lot restrictions on websites what you can use a lot personal data collection is going on.

Huawei P10 Lite (Smartphone)

I have had this product for almost five years. Incredibly reliable (especially considering the planned obsolescence engineered into smartphones nowadays).

Only once have I replaced the lithium ion battery (late last year) and the replacement came from a replica almost as old as mine (the phone was severely damaged mere months after usage commenced due to abuse and neglect on part of the owner). Nevertheless, the replacement battery is still reliable.

For a phone manufactured in 2017, it still runs up to date with the latest version Android applications. But then again, the smartphone industry has already peaked and Moore's Law no longer holds up.

As a recommended improvement to the design, fasten the components using larger screws or even sliders for ease of disassembly, and avoid using adhesives. I had to buy an iFixit phone repair kit just to be able to replace the battery (in all fairness though, the kit itself was just £ 1 and most of the price was paid for the delivery (I should've ordered more)).

Once my existing phone becomes obsolete (which I'll do whatever I can to ensure won't be anytime soon, given how reliable my P10 Lite is to have lasted this long), I'd certainly go with a new Huawei product. Obviously, steer well clear of Apple and Samsung phones, LOL!

Laptops that crack screens, avoid

I bought a matebook 13 and the hinge seized causing the screen to crack, Huawei said they don't repair screens under warranty even though seized hinges and cracked screens are a common problem with this laptop and the Matebook X Pro. I have been trying to get Huawei to fix this because they know the problem exists.
I sent an email to Huawei again and was told "IF" it was still under warranty they would of repaired it, all they did was fob me off till my warranty expired. I am not asking for a new laptop just for it to be repaired, at the end of the day I paid a lot of money for this laptop.
DO NOT BUY HUAWEI LAPTOPS THEY ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, THE HINGES SEIZE CAUSSING THE SCREEN TO CRACK AND THEY KNOW THIS.

Ignore this company. I have a case with them from November 2021. I send a router for repair and I have received a different model back with Europe plug. The date is 21/04/2022 today. Still nothing happened . I will have to report them to the police.

I bought a HUAWEI 4G mobile wifi to…

I bought a HUAWEI 4G mobile wifi to take to Spain. Bought smarty data to add to the free sim and it has not worked since. The password does not work. I’ve spent hours trying to resolve the issue, both myself and online but eventually called their Helpdesk from my mobile in Spain. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone to someone who obviously didn’t have a clue. He said he’d get technical to contact me via email… several hours later, no email. I can honestly say…never buy one of these products…a total waste of money with appalling support

Huawei is unresourceful!

Huawei is such a huge company and yet it cannot fix a simple flaw in its Health app and Watch Fit smartwatch. The watch and the Health software both count steps and merge them making the count useless. Apparently this has been a problem for years and is still unresolved at 2 March 2022. Very disappointing!

Excellent honor 50 mobile and honor band 6

I have just switch the honor 50 green mobile phone after only using sony xperia mobiles i got to say i am very impressed with it so far the quality of the picture is amazing as thats what i look for in a mobile for taking photos of my cats i have been using my honor 50 for a week and i am very happy impressed with it i was surprized that it came with just a basic silcone case which was great and that i love the colour thats my main thing about phones it has to be ones that are colourful i do not like basic black it is a colour phone that stand out and it draws me to it, Then i noticed that there was a fitness tracker called the honor band 6 coral pink again i have had the fitbit charge 4 for a yr but since using the honor band 6 for 5 days i got to say its far better than the fitbit and the price was fantastic i could not believe the price being £34.99 usually £44.99 i got on the offer price and it arrived next day delivery to which i did not get with my fitbit and as for all the health app upon checking on what it does i was very impressed with as well the funcation on that are far better than the fitbit i could not believe what this honor band 6 can do and also what impressed me even more i did not have to keep using the health app to check things on my honor band 6 i can do that just on the honor band 6 its self unlike the fitbit i could only use the fitbit app to check things out, I will not be going back to using sony xperia phones again i will be upgrading to honor phones from now on and as for the honor band 5 fitness tracker i will be sticking with that also i did read all the reviews on both my honor 50 phone and the honor band 6 i was very impressed on the reviews stating they were fantastic i would recommend these to friends and family will be sticking to honor products i am a very happy customer with my honor 50 phone and my honor band 6 coral pink thank you so much hawei i am a very happy customer with your products and will not got on to any other make of mobile phone or fitness tracker i am sticking to huawei honor products for now on. just thought i would add another good point i found on my honor 50 mobile phone i was taking phones then i noticed that there was a symbol on the camera on the screen and when i clicked on the strange symbol i had not seen before on any previous mobile i have had it was the symbol for QR Code once i had a qr code in front of me i then clicked and it popped up qr code reader after installing those apps on my mobile to find out i had that function already on my mobile phone was a shock at first then i was really happy that my honor 50 mobile phone had qr code scanner was on my phone to which i was very pleased and happy that meant i could get rid of the other apps from my phone as well as freeing up space the symbol looks like the middle of your phone as you take a picture without the circle instead there is a straight line through the middle its situated at the top of the phone when in camera mode there are 5 symbols at the top of the phone on the left hand side if i could i would have attached a picture for you to see the symbol as i am not good at explaining i prefer to show with pictures when i found this by accident i was really impressed and i was so happy to freeing up space on my phone storage so glad to have the qr scanner on my phone not taking up space

3 stars for the customer service.

3 stars for the customer service.. they spoke to me quite quickly.. they called me me back very quickly.. but that's it. item in question is the huawei mateview 34" ultrawide gaming monitor.. great monitor but only if you use a pc with it.. don't expect this monitor give you more than 60fps if you use a games console such as the PS5 .. no matter what you do it won't give you more than 60FPS.. they have admitted so now but to sell the monitor stating 165HZ is misleading since the PS5 is a gaming console it should have the warning only compatible with PC. i feel robbed by this.. replacing old monitor that could only output 60FPS waste of money. Great looking monitor great soundbar rubbish FPS for a PS5 or possibly the xbox X series, also this information is very important in my opinion.. so anyone interested don't buy this monitor if you want more than 60FPS.. box should say 165HZ is only available with high end PC gaming system.. 60FPS only on PS5 and Xbox models
