Never previously set foot in the shop

Never previously set foot in the shop, but after it was recommended I phoned them, they sorted me a great deal for the gear I wanted & it was delivered the next day, that's all a customer can ask. Few months later I had an issue with a an expensive item I'd bought, the shop didn't just sort it, they went above & beyond fighting my corner with the manufacturer. Their customer service was absolutely outstanding so for that reason they will be getting all my business from now on. Cannot recommend highly enough.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I ordered an item from them via Amazon. The item never arrived so I queried it. They told me the courier had delivered it and although I asked for photographic evidence of the delivery they couldn't provide it. They also refused to send me a refund and I ended up buying the item elsewhere so am now out of pocket. Looking at other reviews its clear they're not a reliable company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Ruthless seller, should avoid at all cost.

This seller accused me of still having the item I sent back even though it was signed for and tracked with photo.
Their reply to me was that it was a fake tracking number and that it was being sent to DPD fraud team.
Amazon refunded my money thankfully, this seller has real form for this kind of behaviour, totally shocking,
It has taught me a lesson to check now the reviews before buying.

the customer ordered a 4xl joggers he stated even thou the label said 4xl they where more like a xl not been funny but I think Norman should change his name to shallow al as when he looks in the mirror he says see a different person the labels don't lie

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Ordered a fishing chair 5 days ago still not arrived apparently they say its a 24 hr delivery from time of purchase. Rang hull angling centre customer service not good. Wish I had read the reviews now won't be using this company again

Terrible!

Like every other 1 star review I was foolish enough to buy from this shop.
Item arrived damaged. I requested a return / replacement - I was ignored. Amazon contacted seller - also ignored. Ultimately Amazon gave me my money back. Within minutes of the refund the seller finally DID contact me, but only to threaten legal repercussions. I had already seen from others on here that he has done this before - a lot.
I really wish I had looked at the (non fake) reviews on here before I had bought from this company.
Thank goodness Amazon were able to step in.

Recent order of reels

Recent order of reels for some reason shipped in 2 parcels one turned up phoned next morning and Lewis/louis said give him a call back in 5 minutes so he could look into it.
Returned the call and he had found the order and the couriers have possibly lost the other reel.
Went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and sent an acceptable replacement which has now been received within 24 hours.
A total of 72 hours passed from when the initial order was placed until fully completed.
Top customer service cannot fault at all.
Can only guess some of the low reviews are from people who either spoke like crap to the person on the other end of the phone or don’t really know what customer service is.

the staff are very good and helpful excellent service especially louie went out of his way i remember them as everetts they have been going a long time i would not fault any body who works there they know there stuff excellent knowledge thank you for your help keep it up lads from the 3 of us respect

Treats and insults from owner

If we can get his page to a 1 star the website will be hidden off Google. if its from amazon report him to amazon get him removed from there. Time to get this family bussines the exposure they deserve

Outstanding service

Just ordered some joggers a little apprehensive with some of the reviews.Rang the shop and spoke Louis who said let him check physical these were still in stock.Placed the order on Thursday and received them on Friday. Outstanding customer service definitely use this store again.

Make sure you do noto deal with this company…

Make sure you deal with this company through Ebay or Amazon ordered item 2 day delivery, did not arrive over 2 weeks later... contacted Ebay they had promised 3 times to send item... eBay told me Hull angling could not give eBay any valid delivery information... Hull had not posted item first time. scum company don't buy from this lot. and don't trust their good reviews.

Thankfully I went through amazon , so my refund will happen regardless

Exceptional service

Many thanks to Hull Angling, I ordered some bait which I could not locate in Essex at 12:00 on Saturday and it arrived at 11:30 on Sunday. The team were helpful and reassuring as I was going to France and needed the bait fairly quickly. I will use Hull Angling in the future.

The place is a dump

The place is a dump. Can't even walk down the ails because of the boxes and boxes of stuff everywhere it's a health and safety nightmare. Also the guy who I think is the owner may be a little bit of a bandit. I went in there a few weeks back and caught him looking at my bum a few times he had that look in his eye and was drooling a bit which to be honest I can't blame him coz I do have a nice arris but I'm not interested in other guys only women.

Full of crap

Just so you’re aware seen as you obviously don’t know much about the product I bought it’s already drilled and bung fitted so he didn’t need to get his “diy tools out of the garage”

My dads been an electrical engineer for 50 so he knows how to use tools thanks.

He’s also been an angler for 49 so is fully aware about fishing tackle and how to use it.

The problem with hull angling centre is they’re always right and the customers always wrong. Funny how there’s been an Amazon review from today that’s having the same problem as me damaged on arrival can’t get a refund.

Trust pilot reviews are not bullsh*t you guys are.

I’ll sit and wait for the next made up response what’s it gonna be next a unicorn stood on the pole and broke it ????

your dads got a good trade behind him there

hull angling centre is not always wright but will defend its self when need to
them sections just dont snap

trust pilot has it good points and bad points

if you own a unicorn claire i wouldent tell everyone !!

Should not even be be able to leave a star got s1 sonik net delivered it came with a crack in one of the net poles told my wife it was user fault even tho I only just took it out of tube it was sent in for a family business or that’s what they call there self they are very rude telling my wife I should not put braid through a pole only pole elastic that would be like putting water with electric even tho I had a net not pole so can’t even get that right I would avoid at all costs not even offered to replace or refund just come back with sarcastic reply’s they need to go out of business and stop ripping people off by sending broke items and blaming the costumer for it

Terrible company - worse customer service

Had what I thought was a simple miscommunication issue with these on eBay.

They sent a parcel out which was marked as attempted delivery, (I have a Ring camera - the item wasn't attempted at my address) and sent to a depot for pickup.

I could not re-arrange redelivery (not seller's fault) but was told via courier if I would like to return to sender I would have to contact the sender, or wait 7 working days until the parcel was returned automatically. (I would not make it to the depot as I am disabled).

Contacted the seller and explained the situation on numerous occasions and was met with blunt, dismissive replies. Parcel was returned to sender via courier.

Was advised by eBay to ask the seller to issue my refund and if they didn't respond to it to leave negative feedback explaining the situation which I did.

They disputed the feedback with false info and had it removed.

Opened a case with my bank as the item had not been recieved and the seller was not returning my payment.

After the parcel was returned to sender - it was then sent back to me despite me trying to return the item and having talked to the seller.

Sender then claimed there was never an issue and the item had arrived.

Days later the item had arrived - which I put to the side to return once the dispute was finalised as I didn't want to be without an item or money.

During this time I opened the packaging (which had it's safety tab folded over like it'd already been opened) and then the case - only to find the glasses were not even present in the case!

So - the seller has sent me an empty case (knowingly or not - may have been a dodgy employee) then had the cheek to send the item back out once I'd asked to return THEN had the cheek to dispute a chargeback claiming there wasn't any issues before sending me an empty case.
