Hi, my name’s is Victor Gonzalez I am originally from Venezuela, but I have been living in Australia for more than 17 years. I am here to review my experience of having a gastric sleeve procedure in Turkey. After checked and reviewed several options, I decided to go with Dr Huseyin Sinan as I found his resume very impressive.

Everything started when I messaged them on Instagram, and I started chatting with Zack who answered all my questions and sent the scope of offer to me. Once I was in turkey, they picked me and my wife up from the airport to the hospital where we stayed for 5 days. After my surgery I had 24/7. Amazing nurses, especially Rabia and Damla!!

The doctors were very helpful and checked in on me every day. They are very professional. Another big thanks to the dietitian Belgin who explained to me everything about what to eat, drink or how to take the medicines and answered all my questions or doubts.

When it comes to their service, I have to say I am 100% satisfied, they delivered what they offered, since I landed in Istanbul until I left, they were with me all the time.

I recently travelled from New Zealand to Prof Dr Sinan and his team Zack, Belgin and the fantastic team at Lokman Hekim Hospital.
I was nervous to make the solo trip, but right from making contact my mind was reassured that I was in safe hands and I was guided to the right surgery for the best outcome for me.
I 100% would do this again without any doubt and if you are sitting on the fence about doing this for yourself get in touch with Zack and Book. You will not regret it!

Flew over from Australia for the gastric surgery and was great from the get go, was picked up around 10mins after arriving at SAW airport. Hospital was within a 10 minute drive. Soon as I arrived i met with Zach & Belgin who have been great along with the nurses and the surgeon. Coming from Australia I was abit nervous of language barriers and that but everything has been great all staff I've met with either speak English or have translators present. From my own experience, I'd recommend them to anyone.

I had a fantastic experience with my gastric sleeve operation, even though I was initially so worried, concerned, and sceptical about the whole procedure. Coordinator Zack was incredibly patient and brilliant at sharing all the information I needed, which helped put my mind at ease. Belgin, the translator and dietician, was absolutely lovely and so kind, making everything so much easier to understand.

Professor Dr Hüseyin Sinan was amazing – such a lighthearted, kind, and welcoming surgeon. He made me feel completely safe and reassured, even when I had doubts. The team (including surgeon) visited me every day to check up on me, and the nurses were so caring and attentive.

Honestly, I can’t fault anything about my decision to go with this team. They were professional, kind, and made the whole experience as smooth and stress-free as possible, even for someone like me who was so anxious at the start.

From someone who was afraid of the surgery to becoming someone who enjoys his new life!

Thanks to the supports of the Dr.Hüseyin Sinan and his crew, I've managed to go under the operation for gastric sleeve without any complaints & adapting to my new life as fast as possible. Within 3 months, I've managed to lose 40~42 kgs and it's just the beginning of what is more to come.

From how helpful they are to how supportive they are afterwards the surgery, you can trust them without a single doubt. Anyone whom getting cold feet because of this whole procedure, let me tell you this much; you are in safe hands!

I saw their adverts in Australia and it caught my attention. When I got in touch, I started talking to Zack and he told me all the details. At first I had some concerns, but then I made up my mind and travelled to Turkey.

They took me from the airport to the hospital with their vehicle, the hospital is an extremely luxurious place. Zack welcomed me, his fluent English and helping me in all the procedures made me feel safe, I also met Doctor Hüseyin Sinan in the middle of the procedures. Then he came to my room and sincerely answered all my questions about the surgery.

The surgery was extremely successful, I did not have any major complications afterwards, the doctor came and visited me every day, Zack constantly helped me. Dietician Belgin has been following me even after a month.

It was an impressive experience for me, I thank you all very much.

Although I travelled as a support companion for my sisters who had the Gastric Sleeve Procedure, I can not fault the service and care we recieved from Dr Professor Huseyin Sinan and his amazing Team (Zack,Belgin and associated nurses) the process from the beginning to the end, Zack (Medical Consultant) overlooked every bit of information logistics schedules, documents we needed ensuring we were well cared for especially throughout our stay at the hospital.
Once we were discharged and transfered to the hotel the team assisted every part of our journey right up to our transfer to the airport, we felt well cared for especially being that we were in a foreign country to our own Zack and Belgin made this journey more memorable.
Since being back in our own country we are still in communication with Belgin (Dietician) and Zack (Medical Consultant)
I would truly recommend the services of this great team!

From the time I landed in Türkiye I was looked after. And it was thanks to Dr Hüseyin Sinan and his wonderful Team. Everything (pre-operation) was done so quick and as someone from overseas that kind of level of care is amazing. The services I received pre-operation I would not have been able to get in my country and even though it made me anxious, I was able to find out some things about myself I have never been told in my country. After operation the care doesn't stop. Dr Sinan comes and checks on us daily even though he himself is busy. The nurses at Lokman Hekim are very firm but so very helpful. I have seen and heard of experiences that haven't been positive, but for myself I will forever be thankful and have heartfelt appreciation
to Dr Hüseyin Sinan and his amazing team Zack - our coordinator/overseas consultant and Belgin - our dietitian and nutritionist and also the wonderful nurses at Lokman Hekim Hospital.

Going on this journey with Dr Hüseyin and his amazing team I don’t think I would have ever thought it would be this good especially coming from Australia to Istanbul for gastric surgery. Meeting him and Zack via zoom prior to leaving was so settling and knowing who he was and his medical background definitely reaffirmed our decision to go ahead with them. From there they are with you every step of the way, we were transferred to the hospital in a private car and meet Belgin our Nutritionist at the front door of Lokman Hekim hospital. She helped us with registration and from here Zack joined us. They took us to all our pre-op appointments and translated everything for us if we could not understand. Once that was all done we were taken to our room. Surgery next day and I still feel like it was so smooth. I had no issues or complications even now 7 days post op, I am feeling good. The nurses were amazing!! 10/10 although they spoke very little almost no english the cared for you like you were Turkish, also the around the clock care just made it even better. If it wasn’t for them I think I would not be this well after. Dr Hüseyin came and checked up on us every day to see how we were doing and if we had questions. So thorough and attentive, he is amazing. My biggest thanks to you Dr Hüseyin for the reassurance and care for me. I would also like to thank the staff at Lokman Hekim hospital, from the nurse to the cooks and definitely the cleaning crew. Lastly a massive thank you to Dr Hüseyin’s team Belgin and Zack this experience would not have gone so smoothly or been possible without you two. You both made us feel like we knew you our whole lives it was complete trust and I didn’t need to worry about anything.

About 1 month ago (on the advice of my friend who had the operation 3 years ago) I had a transit bipartition operation by Mr. Hüseyin Sinan. I had a lot of prior knowledge before meeting with Mr. Hüseyin, but thanks to him, he explained the remaining 3-4 question marks clearly and openly and I made the decision.
The operation process took 3 days from entering and exiting the hospital and the process was not difficult. I started work (office work) on the 6th day and completed the first month under the control and detailed guidance of Dietitian Belgin. We reached our goals at the end of the first month and did our check-up, everything gave good results as we expected. Regular follow-up will continue and the tests and check-ups will continue in the 3rd month periods.
In order to give my own experience more clearly, the answers to two questions are important as of now.
1- If I had to do the operation again (technically it would not be necessary). Yes, I would definitely start the process with Mr. Hüseyin.
2- Would I recommend it to my closest relatives and friends if needed? I definitely would and I do.
Finally, I would like to state the following. Yes, the process is a surgery at the end of the day, there will definitely be points that make people think, but it is also necessary to pay attention to this. Thanks to this process I have entered, I believe that thanks to this procedure, which has become chronic and where I have been constantly giving and receiving and having difficulty after reaching a certain age, I have prevented many diseases that will come to light in the future (if I had not done it). And there will be no need for many treatments that will probably come with the subsequent diseases. In addition, the quality of life increases tremendously.

My definite advice to friends who are thinking about it is to make an appointment and evaluate them. As a footnote, one of the points I like the most is transparency. In order for the decision I have made to be realized, Hüseyin Hoca also needs to be convinced and he clearly presents the whole picture to you in a transparent manner.

Dr. Sinan and his team have demonstrated the highest level of professionalism throughout my experience. Comparing this to what I might have experienced back home, the professionalism and quality of care here are truly unparalleled.

Additionally, Zack provided exceptional support, going above and beyond to ensure my wife and I, along with our baby, felt comfortable at all times. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Sinan and his team without hesitation. There is no need for second thoughts when considering their services.

The language barrier was not an issue at all. Dr. Sinan speaks English fluently, as does Zack, who was consistently available to assist whenever needed.

The trip to Istambul was very well coordinated by the staff of Dr. Hüseyin Sinan and also the Hospital staff were exceptionally courteous and attentive during our stay. Language was not really a barrier, we had a very nice young lady that translated for us during our arrival and check-in and the rare cases where English was not possible, without her being present, we used a translator app, so no issues here.
I enjoyed the overall professionalism given to us and specially to my friend who had bariatric surgery. I would be unfair to name only a few people, because from Dr.Hüseyin’s assistant to his nutrition specialist, to all hospital nurses, they all made sure we were properly cared for. Surgery went very well and at this point I could not have a better impression of Dr. Hüseyin. Thank you so much.
