I used Hutchins & Co Solicitors as my conveyancer after they were recommended by my mortgage broker. The process started off smoothly, but the seller, who happened to be the council, made things extremely challenging. Their processes were slow and outdated, causing significant delays.

In the middle of all this, Hutchins Law was sold to another organisation, and the solicitor originally handling my case left. It was a stressful time, especially as my purchase was meant to complete during that period. The delays from the council pushed everything back, and my mortgage offer was close to expiring. We had to extend it by another four weeks, and I pleaded with the new solicitor to do everything possible to complete within the timeframe.

Amir stepped in and was outstanding from day one. He kept in touch with me almost daily, going above and beyond to ensure progress was made. He chased the seller’s solicitors and the lender for signatures and documents, and he made sure every action on our side was completed perfectly to avoid anything being returned for correction. His diligence and persistence were key in getting this purchase over the line.

As of yesterday, I am officially a homeowner, and I owe a great deal of gratitude to Amir for his consistent dedication and professionalism throughout this challenging process. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an exceptional conveyancer, especially for a complicated purchase.

My experience did not start out well and was very frustrating. However, I managed to get in touch with one of the managers and explained my frustrations and situation. She kindly reassigned my case to Ahmet and he took over. He was excellent at communicating with me and took control of the matter, which was really in a dreadful mess by then. Ahmet sorted out the chaos and brought order and a great result, in quite difficult circumstances. He was very patient with me and always answered queries timeously. Thank you for turning around a very difficult situation!

Was given this firm by 'onthemoov' and had a great experience. Me and my partner are first time buyers. Carlotta was assigned to us and she was fantastic. Helped us with any queries and anything we didn't understand. We completed our purchase in about 9 weeks, which I'm happy with! Only problem I can think of is that occasionally they took a while to respond to emails but that's to be expected with any solicitor. They were always at the end of the phone if I needed them. Really happy with my experience and would highly recommend Carlotta, can't fault her professionalism and support.

At times extremely slow to act or respond. Always friendly and decent, but the one star is because I was lumped with an extra £260 on the morning of completion day, after we'd already gone through everything, and then I had to chase them weeks later for my £250 cashback from the mortgage provider that was simply absent from the completion statement. When they paid up there was no explanation or apology.

Very disappointing service. Used this company for my house sale and it has been such a stressful experience. The lack of communication is unbelievable. Constantly had to chase up the conveyancer for updates or any information at all. Always on annual leave or out of office. Put in a complaint after a two week delay in waiting on responses from me that I never even received from the conveyancer! Only found out after chasing up a response again! Only to receive no response to the complaint. After numerous times of chasing for an update of the complaint, which wasn't logged as I never received a log number as stated on their website that all complaints are and that is their proceedure I had an email basically saying after a "thorough" investigation and the usual apologies for the dire service, they deemed the complaint resolved and closed. After emailing, asking for more information I have been blatantly ignored. Which is shocking practice as this was sent to a senior employee whom I cannot name as Hutchins have already reviewed this review and asked for the names to be removed. But seeing how the whole case was dealt with it doesn't surprise me. This has been the worst service I have received when selling a house. I am taking it to the Odbusman as they shouldn't be allowed to run a practice with such an unprofessional service. If a response is given to this review, any chance you can respond to my emails to update me with the information I requested weeks ago? As I do not recall receiving a fornal apology?. Totally unprofessional with non existent customer service. Avoid!

to say I feel let down by Hutchins law would be an understatement, Ruben Mbongompasi inparticular. communication frankly pathetic. when you pay such a fee you don't expect such a negative experience.

Was given a date by our estate agent and then the date came and there solicitor took annual leave even tho they gave my mother a date to be out the house its now a month past and still having to chase everything
