Very bad and untrustworthy service

Very poor customer service. Does not reply to my emails. Goods should have arrived by now. Do not know if my generator has even been sent

fast efficient service with the servicing parts I ordered for a generator.

Customer service was excellent. As there was a short wait for the product to be in stock, they contacted me to make sure I was aware of this and OK to wait for it. Item arrived more or less when it was expected. Correct item at a good price.

Website saying products are in stock but not

I bought a standby generator Hyundai DHY8000SELR, in Nov 2020 from HWB car parts, for our house as it is off grid. Within 2 months it broke down and was returned to Genpower, the main dealer. I finally got a reply in July 2021 from Genpower saying that I had not put enough load on the generator and that it was my fault that it had broken down, despite being used as a back up to the solar PV and charge batteries and power the house, fridges freezers , washing machine , lights, tv, satellite broadband etc. in Aug 2021 they asked for £1100 to replace the motor exhaust, cover, etc. I got nowhere talking to various staff who said that they would help sort this matter out. I took HWB car parts to the small claims court, whereby they had been authorised by Genpower to settle if I dropped the case, which I did. I am still awaiting the money HWB will not answer communications so I am about to start court action to recover the money that was promised. I would not recommend doing business with this company as they are dishonest, there warranties are worthless. I am surprised that they still hold a Hyundai franchise.
What is really dishonest HWB are now denying that they sold me the generator despite having a VAT receipt from them. since I have put on this review they now are saying this review belongs to another business. What a sham.

Fast shipment. Quality product

I needed a wheel/roller driven petrol mower with user control over walking speed, a throw-back to those times before manufacturers decided how fast we had to move to keep up with their machines. HWB were able to offer three models in their Hyundai range and their on-line staff were able to provide comprehensive answers to my questions.
The mower was then delivered within two working days of ordering. Great Service

My product was delivered earlier than expected, and my dealings with the company were professional and efficient. But then I had a problem! It turned out to be my own inadequacy, but my 'complaint' was responded to quickly and dealt with efficiently and a response given with kindness and humanity despite, I am sure, people thinking this woman is daft! I was not once made to feel embarrassed or humiliated and the problem was resolved quickly and effectively and I am extremely grateful. Thank you. I would certainly recommend using this small business they are excellent.
