My experience with the hydro water bottle was it gives me energy and love that it enhances my abilities

We were really torn between a Hydrow and the Concept2 rower, which has a long track record and was measurably less expensive. But we realized that intertia and motivation were challenges for us. So having enthusiastic rowers leading us and being able to immerse yourself in the location of the video has made a huge difference. The Hydrow rowing experience is quite amazing. The machine itself quiet and smooth and the interactivity makes a 30-45 minute interval row fly by. We could not be happier after about a month of committed rowing.

Absolutely delighted with my experience so far and can’t rate this product/company highly enough! UK purchase of my Hydrow Pro was quick and seamless, love the quietness and smoothness of the row and the simple integration with my Apple Watch and AirPods; but most of all love the athletes and the content. I’m a 50yr old man to whom regular exercise has never come particularly easily! Having had my Hydrow for nearly 3 weeks now I’ve been using the content nearly every day. I love the rows - the focus on technique, the settings on the water, and the encouraging coaching / general conversation that makes 10-15mins go by in a flash. I’ve also been surprised at how much I’m enjoying the strength & mobility, Pilates, yoga etc. I’m finding I can fit 2 sessions - a row and something else - into 30mins early in the morning before freshening up in my own home and getting on with the day. Exercise has never felt so easy and I’m looking forward to where it takes me. A stat that resonated pre purchase was 90% of Hydrow rowers are still rowing a year later and as at today I’m hugely optimistic I’ll be on the right side of that in a year’s time. If you can squeeze one in somewhere, go for it!

Hydrow is a first class organization. Their rowing machines are extremely well designed with unparalleled quality. The Hydrow community is very supportive and the fact they are supporting world wide water quality is a huge bonus. I am a new user but hooked already, thank you Hydrow.

The ownership experience is not what you would hope. As we know, workout motivation waxes and wanes and after paying for the membership at over $40 a month for close to 4 years life got in the way so I canceled the membership until I could commit to working out again. The Hydrow was sold as something you can use without a membership. When I attempted to use the machine without the membership I have been left with nothing but frustration. The Hydrow that I purchased has a massive screen that I hoped would simply display my “free row” information and that’s all I wanted, the data of my row. Instead I get a massive bright blue screen with lettering that says activate now for the full experience with a tiny little box in the corner with limited info on my row. Even if the screen was blank with the little data box I would be okay but I paid over 2k for a machine that is nothing but an advertisement piece that will not go away until you pay a monthly fee. This is not okay. Having paid well over 2k for the setup I should be able to use it as a smart rower or dumb and should not have a vibrant ad as what I see if I want to know my rowing data. Hydrow, fix this.

Hydrow is AMAZING! I can’t wait to get home everyday to do a workout with one of the many fantastic instructors. Best workout investment I’ve ever made, hands down. If you have been thinking about getting one think no more and just take the plunge!

Overall fantastic. The machine is amazing and I really enjoy the instructors. Only thing that I believe can use some work is the workout search layout:

I do better with programs, such as “build strength in 6 weeks” or “build cardio in 4 weeks” or something like that. Programs that give you a list of recommended days/week and minutes/day. Something more structured.

I’m working on the beginning program now, and while it’s cool to go through the various classes, it doesn’t seem to have a recommended structure on how often to commit to the program. It’s more of a free for all to just go through the recommended classes at your own pace, which I typically have trouble committing with. I find a more structured timeframe to be more motivational.

Otherwise, I really enjoy Hydrow and would absolutely recommend it.

I love the rower. I have the Hydrow core because I bristle at being locked into I membership. I have a couple of complaints. The first is the are only a few workouts available without a subscription (only 3 or 4 longer than 40 minutes). The second is the heart rate monitor connection. It's clunky to connect and even it works about half of the time. We also have peleton bike (hate paying for the subscription but my wife wanted it :)). In contrast connecting my watch to the bike for bpm is simple and flawless. When you start a workout the app on my watch asks me if I want to connect and done. Works every time.

I like everything about the Hydrow. My one complaint is that the menu is not easy to navigate when you start a workout that has multiple sessions. Not easy to find the next session. Thank you.

The machine and the workouts are great!
The ordering process was simple and the the order was fulfilled quickly nd shipped from Hydrow in a timely manner.
Unfortunately, your shipping vendor did not perform to the same standard. The rower spent more than a week on a dock somewhere. The shipper said they could not find it, then suddenly I got a call from a Pennsylvania delivery company to set up a delivery. When I called them back, they couldn’t find the rower! Eventually when I gave them my address, they told me they only deliver in PA, so “something is wrong”.
During this time period, I tried to engage Hydrow customer service. While they answered the phone, they were no help and did not call back as they assured me they would. Ultimately I received a call from a Memphis company to schedule delivery. The delivery happened as promised and the driver was friendly and professional.
I don’t know whether the problem was AIT, or was it truly a paperwork problem from Hydro as AIR intimated. Either way, the shipping and delivery process was not user friendly or prompt.

I have had 2 rowers previous, both water rowers. I finally got the Hydrow and I love it. It has digital slider to make the tension harder or easier which is perfect. Having experience rowing I can tell you this Hydrow is much appreciated. It is packaged perfectly and easy to install and I am guy - so I did not even think about reading the directions and I did just fine. I wish the speakers were better as they cut a corner there and I am on the west coast so LIVE rows are at 5:00 am - the instructors are great but some of them just talk way too much - like they never stop and when you are sweating that can be pretty annoying ... but you can cut them off and just watch and listen to music. Music is good but you can't skip when a lame song comes on. I wish I could bluetooth my iPhone. Nothing I cant live with though because the rower is super sturdy and looks amazing in my house. My stomach is flat and my shoulders are strong and solid as well as my posture is better. I know I look great because cute random girls in public smile at me - thats nice you know. I guess you can say "Hydrow makes you Handsome" :) #enjoy and just pull the trigger - I know it cost a lot but its worth it 100%

Very quiet machine and i really love the classes. Very instructional. I’ve never been able to do a 20 min row before. Love the scenic classes.

LOVE!!! Hydrow! Shipped and arrived quickly! Was packaged well! Appears to be a quality rower! Wasn’t sure how beneficial the subscription to classes would be, but I couldn’t recommend it enough!! Not only are the instructors super knowledgeable and encouraging, but for someone like me who decided to purchase a rower and develop a workout schedule without ever even trying it before, they have given wonderful direction! I am improving with each workout! Thank you!!!
The ONLY negative part of my experience, would be the advertised pricing. It was implied that if you used your HSA/FSA account you could save up to 30-40% off of the price. That is not so. I do completely understand how an HSA/FSA account works, but the advertising is VERY misleading. I am greatly enjoying my purchase and highly recommend to anyone to make the purchase. However, just so everyone is aware, there is no additional amount off when using either of those types of accounts!!
