Avoid working with them

Almost a year ago, I ordered a few items in silver. Before placing the order, I asked several times whether they complied with Swiss precious metals regulations, and I was assured that they did.

However, just a few days after my order, I received a letter from the Swiss Confederation stating that the items could not pass through customs because they did not meet Swiss legal requirements. UPS then had to handle some administrative procedures to return the order to i.materialise.

After a few weeks, I received a huge bill from UPS for 500 USD. I asked i.materialise to check with UPS, and I also asked UPS to check with i.materialise. I spent hours writing emails, and in the end I thought the matter had been resolved.

But a few months later, UPS sent me another invoice for 200 USD in reminder fees. In total, I had to pay 700 USD for products I never even received.

This was the worst experience ever. I will never order anything again from i.materialise, nor from the new brand that recently merged with them.

I ordered multicolor 3D prints (three small cover boxes for prototype of my product) and paid nearly 100€ including shipping. The quality of the printed object itself is quite poor, but the worst is the surface colors! Colors are practically invisible and incorrectly printed (yellow instead of red..). When I complained, customer service informed me that my walls were too thin (1.78mm) while they need 3mm for proper color reproduction - despite their website clearly stating 1mm minimum wall thickness and their online editor marking all walls as "Sufficient". They admitted their specifications should be updated, but that doesn't help me, my money is gone and the final 3D printed case is essentially unusable.. I had to have it custom-made by another company.

bad quality and customer service

Hello, I ordered an engagement ring and the setting broke when I was setting the stone. My goldsmith put this down to a casting error. I complained about this and unfortunately, after an initial response that it was my fault, I received no further feedback!
