Completely see through bikini
Bought a bikini on sale was obsessed with it. Super cute and one of the best fitting bikinis ever!! However. The fabric, when wet is COMPLETELY see through - although mentioning on the website - fully lined. Really sucks because I was so excited about it, only to find it virtually unwearable.
What’s the point in a bikini if it can’t get wet!?! Also, although I got the item on sale to sell something genuinely unwearable for $100+ is insane.
First and last time I am buying from I AM GIA. I am heartbroken.

I have been a IAMGIA customer since 2020, and I have never been this disappointed. I placed an order and even received a notification that it was on the way. However, the order was later cancelled without any notice or refund. At the very least, I should have been informed of the cancellation. If I hadn’t checked the order status myself, I would not have known it was cancelled, and I am still waiting for my refund.

For how expensive the clothing is you’d think the material would be better. The material is so cheap!. I bought a dress and only worn it once and the material is shedding/peeling. $120 for a dress there isn’t worth it.

This brand does not disappoint!
I was so excited to get my package and it DID NOT disappoint! The clothing is way better than I even expected. The material is so soft and cozy. The size is really true to size and is so flattering to my body. I am very petite and always have an issue with the legs being too long or the waist being too big and I didn’t have either of those issues. I will definitely be buying again.

Very bad experience with I.AM.GIA
I recently made a purchase from I.AM.GIA and had a very disappointing experience. First, I am from Spain and was unaware that the company does not have stores in Europe. As a result, I had to pay an additional 400€ in customs fees, even though my original order was only 166.20€. The website should clearly warn international customers about potential extra charges when shipping from the USA.
Second, I purchased the Dylan Jeans, which were expensive but did not last even a year. The fabric keeps tearing around the pelvis area, creating large holes. Despite repairing them three times, they continue to rip unexpectedly.
Third, I ordered a pink lounge set, but the sizing was completely off. The pants were too big and too long, constantly falling down and dragging on the floor, even though I am 1.7m tall (not short at all). I did not request a size exchange because I feared being charged excessive shipping fees again. Additionally, the fabric was too thin to wear outside and wore out extremely fast, making the set unwearable.
The only good item from my order was a black linen dress, which I truly love. However, if not for that one item, my experience with I.AM.GIA would have been a complete disaster.
I strongly urge the company to:
Clearly warn international customers about possible high customs fees; improve fabric quality, as many items do not justify their price; and ensure proper sizing standards, so customers don’t receive unwearable clothing.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed and will never purchase from I.AM.GIA again. I hope this review helps other international buyers avoid the same experience.

Slightly disappointed
honestly my piece felt pretty cheap considering the cost + duties I had to pay :'( I've heard great things but the brand didn't live up to the hype for me personally. Also I find the dresses and skirts so short, I'm 5'7 which is a pretty average height but I can't wear a lot of the pieces out of the house lol

Inexcusable Customer Service and Mishandling of My Order
I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with this company, and I feel it is important to share. While I understand that your company is not responsible for duties or taxes imposed on international shipments, the lack of accountability and dismissive customer service I encountered is unacceptable.
The main issue stemmed from an error on your end. The price of my order was incorrectly listed, creating a $100 discrepancy that resulted in significantly higher duties and taxes. At the time of delivery, I was on vacation, but I proactively informed both I Am Gia and DHL, taking advantage of DHL's vacation hold option to ensure clear communication and prevent delivery issues.
Upon my return, I noticed the pricing discrepancy and immediately reached out to clarify the situation. I provided all the necessary details to work with DHL to adjust the duties based on the correct order total. Throughout this process, I kept Alexis and Ali—the customer service representatives—fully informed via email. Despite this, they failed to acknowledge or address the core issue.
What makes this situation even worse is that they missed my emails, sent my package back to the warehouse, and charged me for the shipping. Instead of taking responsibility for their oversight, they doubled down on their dismissive approach. The lack of basic accountability and the unfair charge for their own mistake is beyond frustrating.
Rather than acknowledging their error or offering a resolution, Alexis downplayed the issue and implied that I "should have been more careful" with my order—a deeply unprofessional and condescending comment. Ali, similarly, failed to read or comprehend the details in my emails, offering generic responses that ignored the facts I provided.
I want to emphasize that I am not asking for a refund or expecting the company to cover the duties. All I am asking for is to receive the product I paid for, corrected and delivered as promised. The unwillingness to accept responsibility or offer a fair resolution is deeply disappointing.
This is not just a matter of poor service but a complete disregard for the customer experience. Mistakes happen, but instead of addressing their error, Alexis and Ali chose to deflect blame, miss critical emails, and charge me for their oversight. This behaviour is poorly reflected in the company as a whole.
Until the company significantly improves its customer support, accountability, and professionalism, I cannot recommend its services to anyone. How a company handles its mistakes defines its reputation, and in this case, the failure to acknowledge or fix the error was inexcusable.

I placed an order for a $200+ dollar outfit on Sunday December 8th they advised me that my package would arrive Thursday December 12th. Today’s is December 16th and I have yet to receive my package. The shippers that I AM GIA uses is DHL which is by far the worst shipping company created. I reached out to I AM GIA and As well as DHL and neither company can provide with information on my haven’t I received my package. I AM GIA has no customer service number I’ve reached out via Email and received a response days later. I’ve asked for the shippers to return package to send due to being unable to receive my package after 4 different attempts. Very poor customer service very poor communication VERY POOR SHIPPING SERVICE. And they’re not able to do ANYTHING ABOUT THE INCONVENIENCE that this has caused me within this last week. their policy for stolen packages is insanely stupid, I had $150 worth of merchandise stolen because my package got delayed and then after I requested it to be delivered when I came back it still got delivered while I was gone leading to it getting stolen. after i had explained this they wouldn’t give me any sort of store credit or reshipment which is ridiculous considering how much i spent. I will never buy anything from them again what a horrible experience.
Horribly Sewn & NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY
IAMGIA quality is no longer what it used to be. Back in 2019-2020, it was flawless.
Now I am purchasing items with "straps" sewn BACKWARDS, inside out, cheap wiring for the bras, and generally WORSE QUALITY THAN Forever 21.

You are 1000% better off, purchasing old items from this brand off of DEPOP, that have been re-sewn or re-worked, to actually fit someone.
