If I could leave a 0 I would

If I could leave a 0 I would. I purchased a voucher for my Green Belt recertification through IASSC. Upon receiving the voucher via email with the confirmation that it was good through 12/13/2025 I tried to register for my test through PeopleCert. PeopleCert had the expiration as 12/31/2024 preventing me from registering for the date I needed. After reaching out to PeopleCert they directed me back to IASSC. Funnily enough, it turns out IASSC is now owned by PeopleCert and they (IASSC) do not respond to attempted contacts either through the contact form on the website or by phone. I called PeopleCert back twice and was just on indefinite hold. The chat person through the website also failed to assist. This company and PeopleCert are frauds and I would discourage anyone from using them.

Exam Voucher Codes are Invalid - DO NOT BUY

They sold me a voucher code that wasn't valid, they have zero telephone customer service, and do not respond to emails. Don't believe me? Just try and find their phone number or get them to respond to an email. These for-profit certification shills are a joke! Do not purchase an exam voucher from them, as it might not work and you'll have zero recourse.

Charged and never provided with exam

Obviously, they absolutely do not care about customers so it looks like they need to apply the principles they certify on to themselves first. I purchased online the Green belt practice exam for 50 USD and then received an auto email that the certificate number "is to be assigned." You cannot have the exam without this number. I then emailed several times and submitted the request via website to provide me with this number. They never reverted, looks like just all of my requests went to nowhere. The website states that they do not have phone support since they "care about customers". So basically they just scammed me out of 50 USD. If you choose the certification provider, I would recommend to go to another company.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. I scheduled an exam then had to reschedule it. I was told by ProctorU that exam dates were blacked out and I couldn't reschedule the exam until 2027! I've reached out to IASSC several times via phone and email to no response. I now do not trust them as a reliable source to pursue my LSS Black Belt and will be going else where. I suppose the $400 I spent on the exam is now gone.

Poor Customer Service, Responsiveness, and lack of adherence to timelines

Similar to other recent reviews, I wrote my exam on mid to late February 2022 via ProctorU and as of March 15 2022, I have still not received any exam results or any email communication from IASSC. I was advised it could take 5 business days but it's been more than 15 business days and still nothing. Also, no replies were received to two additional follow up inquiries from their website over the past few weeks. What's funny is that being customer centric is the heart of Lean Six Sigma concepts but IASSC as an organization seems to be failing in practicing what they're testing us for.

IASSC Green Belt Test

Only thing I didn't like is that I thought the practice test for the Six Sigma Green Belt certification was much easier and had significantly different questions from the actual certification test. Gave me a false sense of security for the test and in hindsight didn't feel like it adequately represented what I would be tested on for the real thing.

Thank you for your feedback. We wanted to add some information regarding the IASSC Evaluation Exams (practice exams). Our Evaluation Exams are actually keyed to be slightly more difficult than the Certification Exam and the questions are the result of the exact same process used to create the Certification Exam questions.

My Experience

My experience was avg. Didn't like the proctor that much. Didn't like the exam interface, the exam screen was small, there was no option to make it full screen. I hated to pay extra 5 dollers. Overall it was an average experience.

Appreciate the closed book

Appreciate the closed book and actively proctored exam. Shows IASSC certification is more trustworthy than others that allow open book or unlimited time to complete.
