Fraud charges permitted to go through
I had a fraudulent charge put on my ICCU Credit Card. I was even contacted by ICCU because they thought it might be fraud. I immediately reported that it was. They said they would not permit the charge to go through, then I was asked to go into the branch and cancel this card, and get another card. I did do this, and was promised again by the person who issued the new card, don't worry, this charge is still pending, and it will not be permitted to go through. After all of this, I checked my acct a couple of days later, and they put the charge through. Unbelievable! I do not know if they actually have any direct oversight on anything. It seems as if there is a lot of vagueness and uncertainty about what is going on with employees and the system. I am VERY disappointed. I think I probably need to do business with a more well established banking operation with better business transaction oversight.
Never trust this bank especially on skip a payment
I recently was offered to skip a payment. Never had done it before but with Christmas and the inflation this year I chose to accept it. Got a email saying that I would be only paying a $25 dollar fee and Happy Holidays. Well December 1 came and I was notified that my $800 automatic payment was going through on the 3rd!!! I called and spoke with a representative who was Sorry and she would fix the error on their end because it clearly showed that I chose to skip a payment. And to confirm on Monday that what she did went through. On Monday I had checked my bank account and they pulled the $800 out?😳 I called them before 7a.m and confirmed that the payment was taken out and I basically was out of luck and could either wait 3 days and drive to Oregon from Washington to a bank branch to get the money or just let it be. I chose to just go without since they have my car payment and my financial situation will be dire for depending on the word and offer of the bank?? I will be looking for a different bank now that can stand behind everything that they say and offer. It’s sad that they offer something to ease the stress of the holidays and just created more. I recommend never using them and if so don’t depend on the words of anything to benefit the customer. Because my experience was nothing but a big disappointment in the holiday season.
Several issues
Several issues, from letting them know there was fraud on my account, and they did absolutely nothing until it got written off. Then after it was paid did not restore the account but takes cash when I go through the drive through and puts it in said closed account instead of my HELOC. what a headache of a Branch.... the whole reason I even owe is because their card showed I had availability when there was still several thousand pending then I got slammed for a large purchase when it looked like I had the cash. Only reason I did not go 1 star is because I was not charged a 25-dollar overdraft fee for this several thousand-dollar overdrafts, so some credit is due.

It’s another bank. Neither better or worse than any other I’ve used. While they do a lot of community outreach, and customer service strives to be great, they’re not unique in this. They’re just a bit louder about it than other institutions. As other banks do, they will try to upsell their loans and cards whenever possible.

I felt extremely welcomed when I joined and everything has been going smoothly. I have deposited checks online and more without problems. I would highly recommend this credit union

The best credit union I have ever been a part of. Everyone I have ever interacted with is great. All of their tools and resources are easy to use. I also love how much they give back to the community. Their brand sponsors everything and I appreciate their willingness to give back. There is no better financial institution in Idaho.

All my reviews of ICCU are five star. I've had my account there since early 2020. Each time I call with a problem, the staff in the calling center are so nice, welcoming and helpful, my problems are solved in one phone call. I cannot tell how many times I've had to call the bank and ask for their help; however many times, they are always helpful, kind, courteous, and very professional. I'm very glad I bank at ICCU.
Credit Union with 1st class service
This credit union has a service team far and above all others. In there platform you can use Chat, Video chat to process a loan or resolve issues without ever leaving your home or office. But don't think that means this limits their access in person oh no! Banks all located all over Idaho and I would be surprised if you are not driving by one everyday when you leave you house. I have never been in love with a bank before but for the past year I have been. What a wonderful place to do business!!
