Completely unfit for commercial use

Completely unfit for commercial use. It took 5 goes to accept a photo of my passport ID page, and even then it garbled the text. The liveliness check kept failing and then, further on in the process, after uploading 2 proof of address docs, it wouldn't let me finish the process because it had somehow deleted the liveliness check.
Summary: poorly tested, bug-ridden piece of garbage.

I mistakenly registered and there is no…

I mistakenly registered and there is no option to delete your detail and account. they say we are a data processing company which basically means they are making money by sharing your data and selling them to their partners and whoever wants it.

We are a Data Processor, in line with GDPR. When we process the information of End Clients we do so in accordance with the instructions of our Customer. If you are an End Client, our Customer is the Data Controller of your information. We do not sell data to other partners and never have.


We pride ourselves on having built our platform on the principle of privacy preservation, ensuring we have no access to customer data at any stage from day one. We work with leading financial institutions who assess any vendor they work with and they conduct rigorous audits on our security measures and data privacy. This is a unique feature we offer and critical for the world we live in today and as stated on our website, we have zero access to customer data, guaranteed.

ID Pal app company really a GDPR compliant ?

The ID Pal app company collects private data, including addresses and photos of people's identity documents, and shares this information with its partners.

There is no support ticket system, no support email, and no phone number.

The company emphasizes that it is compliant with GDPR; however, in this case, I should be allowed to access or delete any of my records.

Are you keeping my records for life without my consent?

Our platform and technologies securely verifies government-issued identity documents to prove they are real, conducts a liveness test to confirm there is a real person submitting them and the technology matches the person to the ID. In our role as a Data Processor, we enable businesses to verify an individual's identity in order to comply with EU regulation on anti-money laundering and fraud prevention.
