Looking for a solicitor to verify my ID using an ID1 form. Found ID5 Certified on Google after being quoted £150 plus vat, from local solicitors. It really is that easy. Gareth makes it so straight forward. Simply fill out a few forms, provide ID etc and Gareth does the rest. I paid extra for Royal Mail 24 hour tracked. Came next day.
Very happy with the overall service, speed and price and would recommend ID5 Certified to anyone.

Documents never arrived. All requests to get them reissued ignored. Do not use this company.

Documentation requested in the call was different to that advised on the website and email confirmation.
When I tried to discuss this on the call, he just said 'it is what it is' and ended the call.
They also advertise on their website you don't pay until you receive your documents, this was not the case, bill was sent after the call.
I uploaded requested info the next day, I never received my documents or communication as to why they were not completing the works.
No response to correspondence asking for an update/why I had not received the documents.
Paid £69.99 for nothing.
Obviously with this company its either 5 stars or shocking service, so its a gamble to use them.

I will never contact this comapany again in future. They advertised as £59 and end up charging nearly £200. When asked for clarification Guy called Gareth put the phone down and said this what it is. its a scam service to advertise and get you on board and then charge you whatever they want.

Got an appointment same day, super helpful, super friendly. Would 100% recommend and will be using them for anything like this in the future!

Recommend - quick, easy and great value

Spoke to a gentleman called George who was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The signed ID1 and ID5 forms were posted the same day and were received via tracked 24 hour post. Excellent service and a bargain price. Thoroughly recommended.

Really weird call that felt like a scam throughout, except I haven't paid for anything yet so can't be. Waited 10 mins on hold for someone who didn't look at the screen once in blurred background generic busy call centre. Told me he wouldn't be able to help if I didn't have a mortgage document, despite me telling him I didn't have a mortgage but did have documents from the list provided before call, but he didn't even bother asking to see them. Asked me for personal info about where I worked, specifically which building, company etc (all whilst still looking away from screen) before telling me he couldn't help me as there were some things not adding up (for a property I lived in 11yrs and standard transfer to ex-partner). I asked what and he wouldn't say other than TR1 wasn't submitted to Land Registry by a solicitor, which isn't true as it was (by extremely well paid reputable ones), and they're the ones that asked for ID1. He simply assumed it wasn't as I told him that I had submitted the TR1 at the start of the call without clarifying via a solicitor. Told me to contact another online service before hanging up. Absolute waste of time. Having said that, I might get a job there if I don't have to do any work.

Edit - Response to their response. Had my appointment at 11:00 this morning, your guy rocked up at 11:10 not under the name Gary. I'll fill the extra info in requested but he didn't even ask me for any information other than my job and why I was selling a house I didn't live in. Had my government job 12yrs, house 11yrs, transferring due to court ordered financial settlement and had any paperwork needed off your list, how suspicious.

I was very impressed with ID5's quick and efficient service. Gareth, the lawyer I spoke to on Zoom, was knowledgeable and helpful. The whole process was easy and took only a few minutes.
I recommend paying the extra £10 for guaranteed delivery. Free delivery can lead to delays and additional costs if documents are lost.
ID5 offers great value for money. They're much cheaper than other solicitors and provide excellent service.
