Once upon a time...
Once upon a time, this might have been a culinary experience, but not any more. The smørrebrød is not at all worth a visit. When having a danish smørrebrød, you envision bread layered with delicious toppings, but this was not so. I had the "Æbleflæsk" and couldn't cut it with a knive and could hardly chew it. The "fiske filet" was mediocre in size and the "postej" felt like it was heated in the microwave. I am glad, we each only ordered one piece, as the prices are high. The service was attentive, and it is a nice touch that Ida Davidsen comes out to greet her patrons.
