Having used iDonate.ie both as a donor and as a charity volunteer, I’ve been consistently impressed by the level of support offered behind the scenes. The back-room team is superb: communication is regular, clear, and genuinely helpful. Any advice provided is always professional yet delivered in a friendly, approachable way.

The platform also provides excellent opportunities for learning and support, including information days and online tutorials—both of which are truly 10/10. These resources make it even easier for charities and volunteers to run successful, transparent, and engaging fundraising campaigns.

Just noticed this week there is a reply option after donation recd ,which is good,more personal than an email .

Easy to use, both for Charitys/ causes and supporters alike, trustworthy, could afford to decrease their commission a little though!

First time uever using it. Set it up in behalf of my grandson who wanted to raise awareness for young people and their Mental Health. Yspi organisation will benefit from his efforts.

As a charity we are using iDonate for many years now and recently decided to use their new tap app to set up a fundraiser. I got into a bit of trouble and needed Customer support but it was outside working hours. Within 15 minutes of the email being sent, Mark contacted me, he worked with me over the phone to rectify the issue so that we could fundraise at an upcoming fundraiser. It is a fantastic app and tool, no need for card readers anymore and I'd encourage anyone thinking of using it, to try it for themselves. Thank you Mark and to all the team, fantastic service and customer support.

iDonate is a shocking outfit.
We set up our page, carrying out all the verifications and inputting all necessary details.
Then, after a day or two, they approved it - so, of course, we started sharing it as widely as possible via our socials, direct messages, emails, etc.
Then they took it down, claiming “inflammatory” language had been flagged by their system “automatically” - clearly a lie as their “system” had already approved it.
Everyone we'd share it with then finds a dead page because of this.
When we phoned them, they mumbled some nonsense before claiming, absurdly, that our photo ID approval - which had been completed online around 48 hrs previously - needed to be done again.
We expressed our exasperation at their appalling antics, maybe a little emotionally, then they closed our whole account.
It could well just be sheer, utter ineptitude, but that's really no excuse.
Disgraceful and disturbing clowns.
Leave well alone.
