Thieves

They keep taking the money for my mum's gift subscription, but haven't delivered anything since April. I didn't even realise because my mum was too polite!!! How is this not theft? Getting in touch with my bank to block and see if anything can be done. Raging!

Terrible

Company have taken my money for 2 months without sending candles. Have been trying to contact them for 2 months to get refund and there has been no communication back to me. Previously were reliable. Will now block payments. Do not use them.

Really disappointed, take your money without sending candles

Really disappointed , have been with iggybox for 3 years and loved the candles I got sent. Have not had a delivery since April, but they have taken money out of my account for may June July and August, have tried to contact them to no avail, have had to resort to my bank putting a block on them taking payments
Really bad for such a previously nice subscription. Would give zero stars if I could

So disappointed

I'm so disappointed. Been with Iggy Box since 2019 and loved it but the last few months I haven't received boxes and no one will answer emails and I am now out of pocket. I've cancelled now and won't be using this service again.

Started off well, went to pot

I started a years subscription in January as a birthday present for my husband. Received three candles then my subscription was paused. Rubbish. And by looking at the recent reviews, no wonder. My poor husband!!

Company not delivering, pause/block payments

Company was sold two years ago and until April this year continued to deliverer quality products as expected. Around this time, it ceased to deliver candles to some/all subscriptions and refunded some of the accounts which missed delieveries with no explanation. Since then I have paused my subscription and no further payments have been attempted. I believe others have had to contact banks. Looks like this business is done.

Scam company.

Didn’t receive my third subscription and then randomly got an email telling me it’s refunded. No responses to my emails.

Make sure you block payments with your bank

Having not received a candle or refund last month, despite them saying otherwise I cancelled my subscription online.

Fortunately I also cancelled and blocked payment with my bank as they seemed to ignore my cancellation and try to take payment today. They are clearly in trouble and should cease trading.

Another disappointed subscriber

Another disappointed subscriber. Took out a subscription as a gift in May - payment taken May and June - no candles delivered. June payment refunded but no explanation and no reply to my emails. I have cancelled subscription and removed payment details from my account so hoping they won't take further payments and grateful to have only lost one month.

3 months worth of subscriptions missing…

3 months worth of subscriptions missing but 3 payments taken… no correspondence or responses to enquiries. I have had to contact my bank and block them from taking any further payments. £60+ down. Very poor service. Total scam.

So disappointing

This is genuinely so sad. I've looked forward to my Iggy box each month for years, and it is one of my only subscriptions. To have the company suddenly show such disregard for their customers and take their money, send nothing out and offer no explanation or acknowledgement is gutting (and theft). Fair enough if they've had issues or even gone bust, but have the decency to let us know. Thought they were one of the good ones...

Feels like illegal behaviour

for over 2.5 years we have enjoyed lovely candles and like the other recent reviews on here, money is still being taken without any sign of a candle or response to enquiry. Really disappointed. Have suspended the account and have approached our bank to report.

Glad I got out when I did

I was subscribed to this company originally 2021/2023 and they were faultless. Seemed like a lovely, small company who seemed to love what they did.
I resubscribed in January and the first two months were fine but then I noticed that dispatches were getting later and later with no explanation. I would contact and would get replies saying it was a delivery company issue etc and pick up dates were being moved etc etc.
I also noticed their presence on social media was becoming nothing. Normally they would put videos of them packing boxes etc and that stopped.
I got bad vibes so cancelled my subscription and based on what I’m now reading so glad I did.
Shame to see this happen to what seemed like a really trustworthy company.
Hope you all manage to get your money back.

Just want to echo what everyone had…

Just want to echo what everyone had said since May. There was a poor ‘free’ gift of teabags and no description card in April. They took May’s money and no candle arrived. I was about to complain and they took June’s money. I have emailed, messaged through Facebook and sent a message via their contact page. This is no way to run a business. If you can’t deliver - then tell us and reimburse our money - don’t just take another month’s money. I am about to cancel my subscription.

Echoing many other recent reviews

Echoing many other recent reviews, I have been away since mid May but have now returned home and have still not received my May subscription box. I cannot make contact with the Company as no contact details on their website and my email has gone unanswered. Very unhappy as this initially appeared so good. I have cancelled my July payment and put my subscription on hold.

I had to BLOCK payments through my bank, as no way to do it on the website.

Halifax reimbursed me immediately and will chase the company on my behalf.

All communications with Iggy Box and Katie have been ignored with no response.

The April box didn’t contain a information card, the gift was a bog standard tea that isn’t in alignment of what was excepted from the experience, and looking at the candle vendor, their candles are priced at a much lower price than the subscription.

All this in mind, I decided to cancel my subscription and just buy candles as and when directly through small businesses.

I was unable to cancel through the website and all three emails I sent were ignored.

Blocking through my bank was the only option, and thankfully the process was easy and fast.

The same day I put the block in place, I then received an automated message from Iggy Box saying my payment failed. Have received three emails detailing as much since.

There is clearly a problem their end. Whatever the problem please stop these automated payments and offer an apology and explanation.

If I could give it 0 stars .... I have been getting these candles for years. Decided to end subscription... went online cancelled through account. They took the money - no candle. Sane had happened this month. I have emailed , FB messages. IG messages - no response at all. It is absolutely appaling
