BAD EXPERIENCE
Initially, my experience with ILIV Property Management was positive everything went smoothly during my tenancy. However, things changed completely after I moved out.
Following two inspections and after agreeing to the deposit return timeframe, ILIV informed me outside the agreed terms that they would not return my deposit. The reason? They decided to replace the beds and sofa in the property, using their own affiliated company, IBUILD, and claimed the deposit would cover these replacements.
This decision felt arbitrary, unprofessional, and deeply unfair. The furniture in question was in good condition at the time of check-out they did not rented the house with NEW FURNITURE INCLUDING THE BEDS, and no such replacement had been discussed or justified during the inspections.
It’s extremely disappointing to see a company act in this way especially when tenants follow all the terms of the lease. In my view, ILIV is not a trustworthy company, and I would advise future tenants to be extremely cautious, especially when it comes to deposit matters.
