I am 73 years old with androgenic hair loss and had cancer treatment between the before and after photos. While not a dramatic improvement, I am pleased with the improvement and feel that the Illumniflow 272 cap will help maintain the hair that I have without topical or oral drugs or other expensive medical procedures. Wearing the cap is easy to include in my weekly activities. The support from Illuminoflow for battery issues has been excellent, and if battery replacement is necessary, you only pay for shipping.

Stronger, Healthier Hair After a Year of Consistent Use

I have used the Illumiflow 272 lasers cap since July 2021. I use it every other day for 30 minutes, as directed. My hair stylist and I agree that it has thickened my hair.
272 Cap pros/cons
I purchased the illumiflow 272 cap to help stop hair loss in the front of my hairline primarily. I used to take pharmaceuticals with it as well, but stopped due to some of the clinical studies showing long-term detriment from minoxidil and finasteride. Since then, I have seemed to stay near the same level of hair density, while doing PRP occasionally. I have not experienced hair re-growth, but it seems to be helping in staving off further loss.
A couple issues:
The shape and rigidity of the cap can be uncomfortable for some head sizes (mine presses on the front and back of my head, leaving space on the sides).
The battery pack has failed twice since I've owned it in 3 years (seems very cheaply made and the connection with the cap and it has failed both times). customer service took care of both of them at the price of shipping , although that price has gone up each time.
I have also experienced that after 3 years of use the location where the cable meets the helmet is beginning to weaken. I have placed electrical tape on it, but for a $800 device, I would not expect this. Customer service claims this falls under normal wear and tear...
Other than that it has been a decent experience all around.
Illumiflow for hair loss
I have been using the Illumiflow red light helmet for hair loss. My hair is very thin now, I have noticed since I’ve started using less hair is falling out. My helmet has stopped working and they are going to replace it with a refurbished helmet since I have been a good customer. I will give an update in the future.
Customer service was excellent
Customer service was excellent. I ordered a replacement battery for the 272 Pro Laser cap but I was sent a different one. Customer service got back to me immediately and said the one they sent would work as well. Then they sent me a USB-A to USB-C cable to charge the new battery without me asking.

First, the people are friendly. They sell a great product, but are willing to go the extra mile should there be an issue. It seems they always are thinking of the customer's viewpoint when doing customer service. I have been a customer for about 6 years now, and I have found that they stand behind their products, and they honor their two year warranty, it's not just a sales pitch.
The 312 Dual cap stops hair shredding
The 312 Dual cap works very well. I use it everyday and see my hair stops shredding. The customer service team is wonderful very responsive helping me with my orders and sending the part replacement. I am so glad I have made the purchase through it was an expensive one.

Great product and service
I was relucant to spend the money on the device, but was losing the battle to save my hair so I bit the bullet and got one after many hours of research. I have had the device for more than 4 years now. My bald patch in back is gone and no receding hairline!. I am impressed with my results- so is my wife:) I am just as impressed with their customer service. I had a battery issue a couple years ago. I got a next day response and a new battery shipped out within days-free! It's great to have a drug free way to keep my head of hair into my 70's.

I am so disappointed in your company I ordered over 2 weeks ago so called i emailed after about 8 days. I received an email about 2 days later trying to find out what is going on the response I received was that they are waiting on a shipment for more product. After about 3 days nothing so I sent an email that I wanted to cancel now they are telling me its going to take 10 days for refund. No apology nothing just received an email they canceled my order I hope other people don't have to go through this. This is how you get bad reviews I should of been compensated and maybe I would of waited maybe an upgrade or 2 or 300 off nothing very disappointed

I have had laser caps before and this one is the worst. Within a month the rubber gasket around the hat came loose. I have had mulitple issues with the power cord and battery and the device is only about 2 years old. Get a Capillus or Kiier, forget Illumiflow
Bad unreliable product
Bad unreliable product. 1 month in and the molding that keeps the plastic insert in the cap starting coming undone. 6 months in and having issues with the battery and sensor. I used that Cappilus for years with no issues
Don’t type any data you don’t want to share on their website
Just ordered the 272 cap from them, should arrive between 6-18 days (I’ll update review on delivery and results). The checkout process went really smooth. However, I already have some reservations when it comes to the company since I have only accidentally typed an e-mail address I am only using for serios things in the box (with the “Contact me for marketing purposes” box unticked) and then replaced that e-mail with the one I use for online purchases. I am also always declining all additional cookies and …guess what? Two hours after placing my order and receiving the confirmation for the e-mail I wanted to use, I’ve got two e-mails on the one that was only visible on their website for less than 30seconds. So yeah, I think I may have just threw out the window over £600
