Illuminare is your local lighting and home décor boutique. We are a proper bricks and mortar showroom, only a two-minute stroll from our beautiful West Coast sandy beaches next to Ayr town centre, Scotland. Although young in years (est. 2019), our existence evolved out of a 40+ year involvement in the kitchen and bathroom design industry; with founder Karol Janik seeing the need to shed more of a light on the decor and furnishings of one’s home. It’s never been more elemental to have lighting that makes you feel comfortable in your own dwelling - be it a sleek modern and futuristic LED system that’s fully Alexa compatible, or a more traditional warm, snug and rustic styling with a grand crystal chandelier centrepiece… or anything in between! We have long seen a need in our local area for a unique lighting showroom paired with exclusive home décor. Combined with consultation services from our friendly and knowledgeable in-house team we design and supply based on the individual needs of our customer, as Karol has consistently done for over 50 years in the kitchen and bathroom trade. Our motto #illuminiamo translates to “we illuminate”; and that sums us up nicely…… brightening up your abode with a splash of quirky class, and an attention to detail you won’t find anywhere else.
