I am shocked at the customer service I…

I am shocked at the customer service I have had from this company , not only have they ignored all my correspondence, the also charged me £7 for postage when it didn't come on time anyway and the bag is very poor quality , it stated on the Kanken website it was an original bag which was around £ 80 which was reduced to £35 so I ordered for my daughter's birthday but we have had nothing but trouble and the quality is poor , I would like someone to contact me regarding this matter !!!

I believe one of my mini kanken is false. The sporting lodge doesn't answer to may questions.

It's been a year since I bought the second mini Kanken for my second child . But it is now when he has started using for the nursery.
I was really happy for the bought but I am considering one of the mini Kanken is false. The green one was the last I bought. The ocre was for my first child. But there are different:
- one of them has the word mini on it,
- the ocre one has a plastic on the circled brand, the green isn't, it's matte
- the inside label is different

What can I do? I would like you to help me.
I was thinking about buying one for me but i am not sure anymore.

I sent an email to the sporting lodge
But nobody answers...

I have photos of both of the bags

I hope some one can help me

Company defunct, customer service not respoding

I purchased a Fjallraven kanken bag from ilovemykanken.com, a website that is now defunct and, according to the website, taken over by the Fjallraven brand. The website mentions the previous owner of this website was 'The Sporting lodge', and states that previous customers should contact The Sporting Lodge for queries regarding returns or warranty claims.

The Fjallraven bag that was shipped to me by ilovemykanken.com turned out to be either a counterfeit product or just plain faulty. I loved it until one day I was wearing it out in the rain (with an umbrella). All my books inside the bag became severely water damaged. After inspecting the bag, I realized that the seams inside the bag are extremely sloppy and have loose threads. After gently sprinkling water on the bag in the in the shower, I noticed that water is leaking into the bag. While the bag is not meant to be fully 'waterproof', it is supposed to be 'water resistant'. Mine is not, and my friends with similar kanken bags do not have this problem with their bags.

I contacted The sporting lodge, but after a month I have still have not received an answer from them regarding my request to return the bag for a new one.

HORRIBLE experience

If I could give 0 stars I would. My package was claimed delivered on tracking, but it wasn't even delivered to my address nor the post office. I needed to take time out of my day to travel to the post office three times and ask for my package but they said they did not have it either. It's been 2 weeks and I still have not received my package. I live in the US. I contacted customer service twice and they gave a generic response every time saying "It's been delivered." Wow, great, nice to know but WHERE IS MY PACKAGE? I am not the only person who has experienced this as I've read multiple reviews about the same problem: no deliveries. I suggest you not order from this site and choose a more reliable company to purchase from that can handle the situation professionally.

so slow

my package was dispatched on may 4, it is now june 4 and the tracker is telling me it's not even in my country yet :) great! super fast 7-10 days delivery wow! starting to wonder if this is even a legit reseller or if im being scammed, msged them asking if there was anyway to expedite or cancel my order and ive been left on "seen" for 4 days despite them advertising that they "typically reply within hours"

Hello Ira as you know, there have been problems with Canada post and we have been communicating with you. Your item, posted on 04/05/16 with reference RS452018833GB has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in CANADA.
It has been in Canada for over 3 weeks but as you have been informed there are huge backlogs with your national postal service. Please would you email us at enquiries@ilovemykanken.com for any request. Canada Post are not declaring any parcels lost as the fires are still causing backlogs which they have intformed us will be cleared in the next few weeks. The tracker I have posted above. It is showing the parcel is in your country. You cannot cancel until Canada Post declare the parcel is lost. I find your review very unfair given we have been communicating with you via facebook.

No Package/ No Customer Service Help

It's been over a month since I have ordered my backpack and it's nowhere in sight. I've messaged customer service a few times and have only gotten responses equivalent to "it'll get there when it gets there" and now, zero response. I wouldn't be this chapped if it wasn't for the amount of money I have spent on this backpack and the lack of support from the company. I have literally no way to find out where the backpack is or if it's even lost. It's not worth time and effort (and the amount of money) dealing with this again.

edit/Ordered in march, recieved middle of July. I am now giving two stars as the backpack came packaged very well and was not wrecked and it's extremely nice. Customer service was still extremely poor and won't be buying from this company again unfortunately.

We never respond as above so please email us and identify yourself. All our orders need a signature on delivery and if you are not at home it is taken back to your local depot. Customer service vindictive

Follow up to previous review - immediately after posting my last review, the company director acted on her threat of informing my employer of my usage of a work email address (which didn't achieve its desired effect) in an attempt to punish me for writing a negative review! I had already taken measures beforehand and informed my employer of these threats. It was a very vindictive act and immature to say the least and only serves to reflect on the individual as well as the poor ethos of the company.

I would recommend people stay clear of such mistreatment as the director managed to take information about my personal life and use it as leverage. I advise to shop elsewhere.

The kanken mini itself is durable and functional but small so serves as a handbag or child's backpack.

Very Good Experience

I already had a Kanken Classic that wasn't coping with the extra weight of multiple textbooks + laptop, so was pretty desperate for my new Kanken 15" Laptop (with padded straps) to arrive. It arrived to Australia within 10 days, the minimum amount of time an item can reach Aus from the UK, with standard delivery. Well packaged, was exactly as pictured.. Really loving the convenience of such easy access and padding with my laptop.
I would recommend Ilovemykanken, and would purchase from them again.

GREAT PRODUCT!

The shipping came as expected and the tracking mail was also very accurate. But most importantly, i really love the bag! It am extremely satisfied with the product and i will definitely recommend it to my friends or even purchasing from the website again. When it arrived, i felt like its Christmas all over again and i can't wait to bring it wherever i go

High quality bag, good delivery service

The bag was of high quality and sturdy. Although the strap hurts the shoulder when wearing a sleeveless shirt, but it was very comfortable otherwise.
The bag is surprisingly light for the sturdiness you get from it.

The delivery was very fast. my bag was shipped to Malaysia from the UK. The next day i place my order, the bag was already on its way to London Heathrow airport ready to be delivered internationally.

Overall very satisfied with the product and the service provided, will be bringing my Kanken to travel next week!

Look forward to buy another product from I Love My Kanken!

slow delivery!!!

ordered my item and it was said to be posted on 19th October. however, it was redirected to Saudi Arabia for unknown reasons when it's supposed to be sent to Singapore. till now, it's still in Saudi Arabia and have not been redirected to Singapore.

I would rather have paid a little extra to buy it locally, since till now, one month later, I have not received my item. disappointed!

Great

Fast shipping, the bag is really cool, I bought a Black and Ox Red Kanken for 15 laptop. It fits my laptop but I can't close the compartment. Idkw. So I put my laptop inside the main compartment and it fits well (I can close the bag). The bag can hold a lot of stuffs + the laptop. I use my Kanken everyday for everything I do.

great international shipping and online services!

The international shipping was just like what it describes: Around 2-3 business days in the air and then shipped to my home by Canada express company - which only took less than one week! Awesome!

One little thing is when I typed in shipping info, I made my zip code and street number wrong at the very beginning, and emailed to the service when noticing the mistake. The next day when i got up and checked my mailbox, they told me it was already updated before they shipped my bag!

And the mini is so cute, stylish and well-made. I use it daily for school stuff and carry my laptop.

And because of the coupon and free international shipping fee, it's an incredibly good deal!

The bag is awesome!!

So I bought the bag. Kanken Classic. It was quite an impulsive buy, given that I didn't fancy this bag, but I just wanted to own one. Anyway, I just bought the “save the arctic foxes” series because I thought that why not, right? Then it was shipped out and mailed and all... Hmm so why did I give it 4 🌟 instead of 5? This actually is only applicable to Singapore because it is about the local mailing. After the bag has reached Singapore, they passed it to the national courier service and this is the problem. They did not register the post and there is a chance of getting it lost somewhere... And I do not think it is wise to make tour customer worry about this when we have paid a decent amount of money for the bag. Alright, I still received it and everything's alright!! Maybe just the stitching was a bit off. I will carry it for a few more times to see if it affects me. :-) Thank you it is really spacious, I like it.

Excellent Customer Service, Superfast Delivery, Great Prices

Already owning a Kanken Mini, I decided that I HAD to order a Kanken laptop to use as my new school bag. I also decided that I needed it just two days before going on holiday for a fortnight, and that I couldn't possibly take any other bag on holiday with me - it had to be that one.

As I didn't see a 'next day delivery' option on the website, I emailed the ilovemykanken people at 10.50am asking if I could pay extra for next-day, and they replied within 20 minutes saying 'yes'. I placed the order straight away, and received a 'parcel despatched' email from them 10 minutes later. Wonderful.

The bag is awesome too - very well made, stylish, and perfect for holiday-wear or laptop-carrying!

TERRFICIALLY FABULOUS

I had bought this for my last year of school and hoped it would last. It has so far. It is wonderful. So spacious, stylish and is comfortable!! Previously, I've had trouble with bags; broken straps, not durable enough, etc etc.
But my kanken? A*, I love it, so much I've recommended Kanken to a group of friends and three of them went and bought their own!!

Very efficient!

Really fast communication, and very patient, it was the first time i brought from this website, therefore i am a lot of questions, the person who replied me was very patient and understanding, went through everything that i have doubts in.
Fast delivery from UK to Singapore, however things was slower in Singapore but that is our own country's efficiency, might want to consider using other sources like FedEx or DHL for faster delivery.
Product came in great condition and was very pleased as my peers told me that it might not be authentic(which was proven wrong.)
Price was very ideal since there was an 15% discount, if i buy it from Singapore, it might have to cost me about $200 SGD but when i buy in from your website, it only racked up to $150 which was really surprising
Will definitely buy again!

Especially would like to repeat theirs efficiency! A big country like UK was able to send my items to singapore in just 4 days! Communication was also very very efficient!

Lightning fast delivery

When I ordered my Kanken Big, I was expecting to get my bag in a couple of weeks, maybe a month because of international delivery to Turkey. When it came in a couple of days I was really surprised! I can't comment for customer service because there was no need to contact them. I saved a lot because of the non-EU discount plus the 15% extra discount. What else can I say, I would totally recommend the site.
