After the birth of my second child I was looking to take out some additional life insurance. I'm Insured brokered me a great deal of a further £500k and made it a quick and easy process. Thanks so much for the help! Steve

Originally organised life insurance and all was well. Got a call from I'm Insured to be told my policy was not for enough to cover my mortgage should anything happen. Got me another quote for more money / life cover . I called legal and general and they said my policy was covering my mortgage in event of any issue. They said that I'm insurance was trying to take out the new policy for me so they would get paid commission. Don't trust them. I wonder what the FCA would say about this????

I enquired about taking out a policy, spoke to Aaron who advised he would help me progress my application, he was going to speak to an insurance company but they may ask questions, he gave me “his” mobile number to text with answers to questions he may have whilst he was on the line with the insurer. Sure enough I received a question a few minutes later, and answered immediately with multiple messages. I received no further text messages, but a few days later my phone provider alerted me to extra charges, I had been charged 14p per text I had sent to the number given. This was not advised, and not expected. I am not usually charged by my provider outside of my call plan, which suggests the mobile number I was given was a premium rate. I no longer have any trust in this company, and am shocked that other reviews had not mentioned these charges
