Upgraded my iPhone 13 to an iPhone 18. The maps for the app Navmii did not transfer over. AI told me to delete app and use Russian version which also would not download maps. AI then said all Naomi servers down!! So I bought iMazing to transfer Navmi, its data and maps from my iPhone 13 mac backup to my iPhone 18. I had no problem creating the Navmi.imazingapp file. However when I tried to transfer it using usb cable I had the spinning wheel for 4 hours. So the app did not work for me! Chatbot no help.

Quick response and resolution to my issue. It will be great if we have the ability to manage, edit and change our a/c and licensing details through a dedicated portal online. This will make things easier and instantaneous specially for people in different time zones. Thanks

Thank you for the response, but I think my issue was misunderstood.

My iPhone is already connected to the computer using a USB cable. iMazing recognizes the USB connection normally when I perform a backup.

However, when I try to access or extract Messages, iMazing gives me a message indicating that the internet/Wi-Fi connection is being used and tells me to connect the phone using a USB cable — even though the phone is already physically connected by USB and recognized by iMazing.

So the frustrating part is that the same USB connection works for backup, but Messages does not recognize or use it properly.

This is the specific issue I would like your support team to investigate.

iMazing is frustrating and not worth the premium price. Here's why I don't recommend it:

Connection Issues: Connection to iPhone is unreliable at best. Despite using a trusted data cable, the app keeps dropping connection. It constantly tries to switch to internet or Bluetooth connections even when you explicitly want the wired cable—and none of the methods work consistently.

Performance: The software lags noticeably, especially during transfers. Basic operations take longer than expected, and responsiveness is sluggish.

Not Time-Friendly: If you have a deadline, avoid this. Expect to spend hours troubleshooting connection issues just to get it working. By that time, you could have found a better solution.

Poor Value: For the price they charge, the reliability and performance don't justify the cost. There are cheaper alternatives that work better.

Bottom Line: I wanted to like this tool, but the combination of unreliable connections, lag, and high cost makes it a poor choice. Save your money and your time. Only consider if you have unlimited patience and no urgent timelines.

I used this program many years ago and included messages with a court filing - I am not a lawyer - personal filing by a layman. Remembered the program, did a search, Voila - downloaded and could not figure it out as incoming and outgoing messages were not working following a search amongst messages for the conversation I needed. Emailed for assistance. Immediate answer late PM of receipt of my request, and awoke to a a detailed response this morning - not even 24 hours from customer service. Michael was a superstar, and I had my issue fixed. Superb service.

From iMazing: However, if a device is broken beyond repair, replaced via warranty/AppleCare, stolen, or something similar that’s out of your control, then as long as you provide some sort of proof, such as a receipt from the repair shop, then we’ll allow unlinking the old device. Although, if it’s something within your control, such as you simply wanted to upgrade your device, or sold the old device, then we generally don’t allow unlinking the device from the Device License.

Needs to have a way to just download the conversation you want, not just the WHOLE text app. Spend 10+ hours downloading your whole phone history of texts just for ONE conversation.

I sent an email with my problem and I got a reply with a solution right away. So they were quick, solved my situation, and very helpful.

Support via email is fantastic App itself is very impressive with many features. Initial backup of 800Gb took about 2 hours but incremental back ups much quicker. Subscription policy is confusing Turns out you can use free version for backups but would need subscription to restore :0)

Was able to transfer my music from my iPhone back to Macbook. Great product! Easy to use.

Over the years I only once had a problem to recover my data after changing iPhone. That day I could benefit from iMazing when everything else had failed (I almost had forgotten to use iMazing). Since then I continue to update iMazing, I hope I won't ever need it, but I am confident in such case it will work. This is a fantastic tool.

The customer service is very nice and instant. My issue was resolved in less than 1 hour. Thanks very much for Michael's help.
