Shocking customer service
Please take notice of the negative reviews because if you have an issue with this company they will not take any notice. I received a faulty pair of loafers which had a white mark on the top. I reported it immediately, no response. Chased again, no response. This company are highly unprofessional so be warned.
Just order online if you can’t get to the shop
Twas easy peasy. Saw the ‘Art’ shoes in the window, oooo… really wanted them. Then I was poorly, but no worries, ordered online, picked up from shop. Shoes are perfect!
Ordering great, difficulty getting in touch about a return
The ordering was straightforward and the boots arrived quickly. Unfortunately they are too small and I have struggled to get back in touch with Imelda shoes to arrange a replacement. I have tried phone and email. If anyone sees this response, please can you get in touch. Thank you
Arrived quickly and best price online
Arrived quickly and best price online, thank you!
Amazing opportunity : no other stockists
Great boots ! On arrival the postage had been underpaid so I had to go and collect from PO and pay extra £3.30 on top of original cost !
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. Generally go to the shop but ordered the shoes online and received quickly and well packaged. Highly recommend ❤️
Magenta tights
Hello. Words cannot describe how heartbroken and disappointed I am with this shop. I have been a customer for maybe over 10 years. I live and work abroad most of the time, and whenever I was back home in Norwich, I would always pop in and buy many things. As a reporter, journalist, and blogger, I also posted about the shop and promoted it. I brought in many customers, and to be honest, they rarely had decent sales, but I didn’t care because I thought the shop was unique.
Lately, I’ve noticed that prices have gone very, very high, but again, I thought life is getting hard for everyone. I waited a few weeks to buy the tights I always wanted in purple. When I finally bought them, they were nearly £20. I thought, fine—they’re unique, and I’ll enjoy them. Over the past 10–15 years, I’ve spent a lot of money in that shop.
I went home and tried the tights on. The moment I put them on—even though I bought an extra-large size specifically to avoid issues, as they were very fine fishnets—they immediately ripped. I took them off, and the next day, when I was in the area, I popped back in and asked the shop assistant if she could tell the manager or owner what had happened. I said, honestly, I don’t even want a refund—if possible, I’d just like a replacement pair or some kind of discount. She promised she would pass the message on to the manager. Unfortunately, I never heard anything.
A few days later, I was there again buying knee-highs and spoke directly to the manager. I asked if she could please help me and showed her what had happened. This is where the real problem began. I don’t know her name, but she was very nasty to me. She said I probably didn’t know how to put fishnets on and implied that I had ripped them on purpose. She said she would have to teach me how to put her fishnets on. She went on abusing me, saying I had no idea what I was dealing with, that she didn’t care if my tights were ripped, didn’t care if I was heartbroken, and didn’t care how much money I had spent in the shop.
After all these years as a loyal customer, that kind of treatment is unacceptable. I went to the market afterward, where a wonderful seamstress fixed the tights by adding a special patch. We’ll see how long they last. Honestly, the tights are faulty. In my opinion, fishnets should have some kind of reinforced middle area—but that’s not even the main issue.
The real issue is how the manager spoke to me. Shame on them. I will never, ever go into that shop again.

I ordered the slippers and they arrived within 48 hours pretty impressive
Selling items they don't have
Purchased an item that was listed on there website but no longer available. Very un professional and disappointing. Refund also took ages. I don't recommend buying from them. Upsetting experience.

Fabulous Shoeshop Great Service
Fabulous shoeshop, with a tempting selection of ladies shoes. I had seen the shoes I ordered in the shop but didn't have the time to look so I ordered them from Imeldas website and they were perfect and sent quickly.
Excellent
Excellent, friendly service from Liz.
So helpful and knowledgeable of her stock and which shoe would help my health condition.
Extremely patient too.
Thank you so very much.
Nice shoes, terrible customer service
Nice shoes, rude staff. I was totally ignored when I went in the shop. A young girl who worked there blanked me as I walked in and carried on sorting some shoes sitting on a stool. The other lady was too busy chatting to a friend to serve me. By the time her friend left and she abruptly served me I decided I would not be purchasing from this shop. Bad service cost you a £175 sale.
