Take clothes that don't fit to opp shop. Don't waste money on return postage

I ordered some clothes back in August. The 2 pack fleece pants were not what I thought they'd be, and they didn't fit properly. So I decided to return them. The pants were $59.99 and the return postage was $12 . I got confirmation on September 12 that that the returned pants were received and that it would take 5 to 7 days to give back a credit, but nothing so far. So I rang them and was told they had been having trouble with PayPal, but he could put the money back on my card himself. After being put on hold several times he came back on saying he had trouble doing this. I told him I was never going to order anything from them ever again until I got a credit or refund. I'm now $72 out of pocket.

Innovations Failure to Honour Warranty

We recently purchased a mini electric single sandwich/jaffle maker branded as Davis & Waddell from Innovations online.

After its first use, we noted a small crack on the upper face of its closure handle. After using it a second time, a small piece of the plastic at the location of the crack actually fell off, exposing a metal screw. Eventually a broken piece of plastic fell off the opposite side of the handle, now leaving two screws exposed.

These two screws had obviously been over-torqued in the factory, and combined with the heating of the toaster when in use had expanded and broken though the plastic cover. We immediately ceased using the toaster from a safety perspective.

We telephoned Innovations customer service twice, and were given a bogus reply paid number in order to return the toaster for a refund. Our post office refused to accept this number on two separate occasions. We emailed Innovations three time, but without any acknowledgment of our warranty request.

Innovations obviously disregards the Australian Consumer Law, and has no intention of honouring their own 12-month warranty on all their products.

I would recommend potential buyers to be very wary of Innovations' disregard of consumer laws and refusal to honour warranties on defective devices, particularly those using by 240 volt mains power.

Shocking IT retail system. Poor customer service.cted 2 x products

Selected 2 x products, 2 x different colours, added one at a time.
Checkout appeared to show 2 x same colour.
Contacted company immediately with order number to check the order was for 1 each colour.
Received reply that that was just how it is and there was nothing they could do to stop me getting 2 items same colour! Huh? Shocking IT retail system. Poor customer service.
