We also travelled as part of the World Rugby Cruise, promoted as the trip of a lifetime for rugby fans, with the list of failures beginning at boarding and continuing all the way through to returning home, the main complaint being no transport to see the matches paid for, with them being played over 2 hours away, this is the only reason the trip was booked and our money paid, add to that, drinks package cancellations, lack of promised entertainment, and the lies told and promises made to placate us was unbelievable. By far the worst travel company we have encountered, and we holiday and cruise fairly regularly. Cannot state enough, please Buyer Beware, as their follow up and customer care is non existent, and at best dismissive and rude
Everything fell in to place on the trip nicely and we were able to really enjoy the luxuries of the cruise as well as the rugby!
the staff were on hand and very approachable to answer questions which they had control over
fantastic idea!
1st time cruising and we had an amazing time. The service was great the team at Infinity Sports Travel were always very helpful, polite and available if and when we needed them. I would recommend them to others and would certainly use them again.
Thank you all at Infinity Sports for a great holiday!
Excellent experience throughout. Booking process was fine for me despite some 9ther reviews here .. and the trip itself was good value. Would definitely recommend for future sports trips.
We are no strangers to Cruises, however this one was an exceptional and enjoyable experience. There were initial issues with to and from the boat, lacked communication and tempers were high as OAPs were struggling with a long walk when they were assured of private transfers at the time of the booking. Over two hours just to check in with irate passengers could have been prevented had the management and authorities communicated well.
A separate desk for Infinity would have eradicated the frustration as some passengers had been on the go from 0400 on the day, only to board Epic at around 1600-1700, without any refreshments. The accommodation on Epic was excellent with variety of food especially for Jain vegetarians. Very pleasant and helpful staff, nothing was too much of a trouble for them. It is prudent to point out that the EPIC Management must improve the numbering of lifts to the decks and directions to cabins. Overall a good holiday. Disregarding the minor issues Mr Bobby Dayal of Infinite was brilliant from start to finish. A credit to the team. Bring on the next one. A Norwegian
Fjords would have high takers.

Went for the cruise but ended up being hooked on Rugby!! Enjoyed the cruise and food and thank you to all for making my 1st cruise a wonderful experience.
Some fellow travellers had some issues (Transfers, long delays), but this were beyond the control of Infinity travel (flight being transferred back to London due t safety). This resulted in queues at cruise liner check in.
Clear communication and presence of a rep at key times would have removed all the issues

I was at the RugbyWorldCup with them in Marsella, and with my group ( 50 pax) we had a very nice experience. Well organized, and the crew vas very helpful with everybody. A lot of information, entertainment and transfers to stadium all included. First day there was a some tension waiting for buses with people who’s not too much patient. But everyone reached the match on time and with the Argentinian victory the tension changed into celebration. Muchas gracias again

We booked late and had great communication throughout the trip. Email replied too promptly and we even had a direct number to call when needed. From airplane to ship was smooth and hassle free. The organisation of events on the ship were like clock work and announced over the ship to give enough time to get to each event. Can’t wait to do another trip. Thank you Manam and crew

Poor administration, poor communication, poor information. Had to call a few days before to get any information to find that although we booked early, the person taking the booking had left. Not sure why that should have made any difference. We finally received documentation & match tickets just a couple of days before the trip. Thank goodness we booked our flights and transfers separate having read these reviews. Match day organisation was extremely poor - not enough transport to the metro, which was supposed to have been to the ground, no staff around, probably too busy enjoying themselves in Marseille!! We were never asked about any disabilities and we arrived at the ground the first day to find that there were no lifts or escalators to the area where we were seated - 128 steps to the area, then another 45 steps up to our seats. Toilets were two floors down so another 122 up and down. The poor guy sitting next to us had 2 damaged hips and we have no idea how he managed to get to his seat as he was struggling walking. I believe this company has only been in existence a short while. If you need returning customers you really need to significantly improve your organisation.

I was very fortunate to receive the phone call about the Marseille match experience, I’ve watched rugby in many countries over the years and have never enjoyed an experience as much as this one.We had some teething problems at the port on our first visit but that was not your problem and you sorted it out.The organisation was very good and all your staff were helpful and great fun.I have recommended watching rugby like this to all my friends they were very jealous, again well done to everyone involved.

Highly rate this EPIC trip onboard with the Infinity Team.
I was with a rather large group, all of us welsh together. A special mention to a charming man Chris Parrot who was able to assist us before the trip and once we got onboard we spoke to a few of the Infinity team, including a chap called Krisheena who helped us with printing our tickets as we could not access our data.. he was also quite the charmer (Infinity picking the right men)
We came to know Robert was in charge of events, had a conversation with himself and gave him feedback of how great GBR and Mr Nichol was.
THE NCL Epic is not like any cruise we have done before, we are more comfortable with set dining timing so having to just go to restaurants and pick each night was a bit loose for us but it certainly didnt hinder our experience, it just meant we had to plan our nights in the morning!
there was the issue with the coaches to the Wales game but sh*te happens and we cant really do much about it.. Service charge was also an issue that we faced as on other cruises this can be removed but again this was something fixed for charters and we couldnt be bothered to argue as it was just like we were the ball playing ping pong between the NCL and Infinity desk, so we left it!
Overall good experience, great concept... lots of improvement next time but thats like everything when you do it for the first time!

We booked this trip to the World Cup quarter finals on very short notice so I was a little nervous we would not receive all the required paperwork in time, however, we actually had close correspondence from the Managing director who did us proud.
Slight delay on the outbound flight due to a French air traffic control strike but the actual flight and transfer went very smoothly.
Check in at the port was pretty quick for all six in our party and our balcony cabins were very comfortable and spacious.
We enjoyed the live pods cast from the GBR and the GBRA lads in the ship’s theatre followed by the legends gala dinner in the Manhattan lounge which was a personal highlight.
All match tickets were sent to us well in advance of the games and the transfers were smooth.
It was amazing to rub shoulders and chew the fat with some of the stars of the game and l think the whole concept was superb for like minded rugby fans. All infinity staff were very friendly and helpful and I couldn’t fault Norwegian cruise lines, the ship’s facilities were great and all staff were amazing. Everyone in our group had an unforgettable time. A special shout out to Manan who personally looked after us from start to finish and gave us a World Cup experience to remember.

We would like to thank Bobby and his team for providing as with a great cruise experience.
It was our first cruise .Bobby was always their to help with any thing we were not sure about.
The ship we sailed on NCL Epic was excellent, great staff always pleasant and ready to help. Good choice of vegetarian food, lots of entrainment to suit everybody no chance of getting bored.

Overall experience for us was good, we traveled as husband and wife but booked our own flights to Marseille so we can only score the ship and rugby experience. In reality I would prefer to give 3.5 stars so being positive.
Food, drinks package and ship experience was good not quite the same as previous cruise experiences we have had but this was a rugby trip and fulfilled that expectation.
Rugby legends on board were all available friendly and happy to talk etc. Andy Nichols Breakdown was good and venues to watch the later games were available and not too crowded.
Game tickets were good seats.
So we had a great trip, below a few observations for IST to consider.
Availability of staff in and around the ship and outside the ship was needed with a lot of people having questions I know customer service was open but why should people have to go there when staff could easily be made available. For example lots of people (not us) outside the ship at 9 am not knowing where to go or where the bus would be at 11. Maybe some seats and water for people? A waiting area?
Transfer to the game I believed was that not transfer to the tube maybe my misunderstanding but possibly deliberately mislead? Who knows?and on the second day not even a metro ticket. My wife struggles in these crowded situations so we got a taxi to and from the games after the first experience getting to the game. That’s why we expected a full transfer and was partly why we booked this trip.
Andy Nichols breakdown content was good but the sound system was poor and no organisation of crowd we got there early found a seat as many did only to have a crowd stand in front of the seats.
Not sure if IST thought well it’s just a rugby crowd or not but they need to step up the professionalism all around and consider the customer experience on all aspects not just the rugby.
IST had been in the area and other games for weeks so should have known and could have helped more.

On reaching Marsille, we had to walk ,drag our luggage to the coachvwhich was parked miles away. The coach driver was very rough and didn't wait for people to sit before driving.
The wait to register on the cruise took hours and also heat dd not help. Next one was immigration, similar experience. Once on the cruise, was ok. Returning back, same issues. Had to leave the ship at 9.00 am, await for the coach which was at 11.00 am. Flight in the evening 7.00 pm. Not going to travel with this company again..
