Absolute nightmare of a company, I really wish I would have researched them here first. Predatory and does not work as advertised. Charges more than advertised, and makes it impossible to unsubscribe... See more

There website list Only $0.99 for the service I got three charges for $0.99 3.99 and $ 35.13 what a bunch of thieves do not use at all.
This is clearly a scam
This is clearly a scam. They were supposed to charge $0.99, but they charged $37.17, which was automatically declined by my card provider). Seconds later they tried the $37.17 again which was also declined. Thank you to my provider Barclay’s.
Hidden cancellation options, I still haven't found a way to cancel my "subscription"
The information wasn't helpful and their cancellation policy is no where to be found. You cannot find how to cancel. Instead you are given a number to call that is only open Monday-Friday during certain hours.
This website is a scam!
Information LLC Total SCAM
On April 6th I was unknowingly subjected to very deceptive business practices by Information LLC. I purchased a one time report for $.99. To my shock, I was charged another $35.13 on the 11th of April. Then I was charged again in May, June, and July. Because I often choose a PayPal 4 payment method to pay for merchandise I order, I did not notice these charges to my card until today, July 29th. I have requested a full refund of $140.52. I am awaiting the company's reply. Their advertising misrepresents their services. Don't get sucked in like I did.
Scam!!
Scam!!! Poor business practice. I spent .99 for a simple search for one day was all I was trying to do. Next thing I know Im out $40+ dollars. In less than 4days they took that from me. I wish I done the research prior to using them that this is a common thing. I have emailed them and filed a complaint about the lack of transparency to this "subscription" which you can't cancel online yourself. Use any other website. Avoid this 100%
SCAM WEBSITE!! Crooks!
SCAM WEBSITE!!! 5 day trial period .99 cents, I was charges an additional $6.95 after a minute, then they tried charging me $35.00 but my card used stopped that! DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!! Especially through PayPal...
This company is an outright thief!!
This company is an outright thief!!! They take your money and give you nothing. Just misleading outdated information. Stay away from them!
It's a money racket
I signed up for the 99¢ trial.
The same day I was charged again for $6.99. Three days later I was charged yet again for $35.13.
I want it cancelled but haven't gotten a response.
If I could give an honest review it would be -5.
I wouldn't recommend this site to my worst enemy.
Crooks
I tried to pay the .99$ to view and obtain a copy of my report and it told me only .99 cents but when I tried to view my report it attempted to bill me over $35 dollars don't waste your time....
Not the expected experience.
I had what I feel was a terrible experience with Information.com. When I searched on Google, I saw that it was listed as a source for accessing free public records. However, that turned out not to be the case. I entered all the requested information and waited while they asked me even more questions about the individual I was requesting information about. I was then shown that this individual had government, financial, and police public records on file, with a warning that some of the information might be shocking. Twice, I had to agree that I understood before I could view the information. The only way to access this information, which they call a report, was to provide my email address, which I did. It then took me to a page asking for a $0.99 fee, and at the very bottom, in small print, it stated that by proceeding, I was enrolling in a recurring monthly program that would charge $29.99 per month on the card used for the $0.99 fee. In my opinion this is not free public information. It includes a $0.99 fee for the requested information on this individual and a recurring monthly fee of $29.99. I have written to the site asking for an explanation but have not yet received a response. I will update if or when I hear back from them.
Deceptive Business Practices
I purchased a .99 cent background check from information.com. Little did I know I was also signing up for a 29.99 recurring monthly fee. This information was hidden at the bottom of my receipt, and I missed it. This is the worst kind of deceptive business practice. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
I signed up just to get a background…
I signed up just to get a background check on myself for I got turned down for a job after my background check and I don't understand why it said it was $.99 then I got a text from my bank thank goodness for TD saying it was fraud they were trying to charge me for an annual 29.99 and this company comes up in their system as fraud. Stay far away from them.
Scam
Scam. Stay away. They lie about their fees. They said it was supposed to be a one dollar search but charged me $30 and signed me up for a monthly subscription that I never authorized. I called them and asked them to make it right and they refused. I disputed it with my credit card company and they are well aware of this scam website. I got my money refunded, closed my credit card and got a new one so they won't try and rob me again. Now the hassle of changing all my auto bill pay subscriptions. The information that they gave me in the search was not accurate at all. I tried to search myself and it was totally inaccurate. This company really needs to be shut down.
In March
In March, I signed up for the service and used it a few times then cancelled. Payment went through PayPal. On Sunday, I noticed a fee of 29.99 on my bank app from PayPal and didn’t know what it was so I went to PayPal and discovered that despite me canceling in March, they continued to charge me. I called them this morning. The first rep couldn’t find my account and put me on hold and after about 5 minutes the call dropped. The second rep found my account but there was supposedly no record of my cancellation but they will refund this months so they say. Shady business practices.
Total scam
Total scam. A $.99 report turns into a monthly charge of $35.99, for what? Not recommended.
Don’t waste even $0.99 on this company
Don’t waste even $0.99 on this company. The information they provided for a search was totally inaccurate and useless. After seeing that information I ran several tests on my own information which confirmed that the site is useless and has no credible information. Now I will see how the cancellation process works. After I wrote my initial review I checked my bank transactions and saw where I have been charged $1.00 for the trial period and $35.13 for the full subscription amount. The additional $35.13 should have been charged on May 30 if the subscription wasn’t cancelled prior to that date. I reported the fraud to my card issuer.
Google is allowing this LLC to falsely…
This LLC is falsely advertising that it is free...When in fact, they bait you into waiting for a report, that you most likely won't purchase when you realize they want to charge you for it. I think not! They are using that time to get as much info as they can off your phone, while your thinking your getting a free report. We can thank Google for this dumpster fire
