Far Infrared Heating Panel - Awaiting refund

Mirrored Far Infrared Panel costing £360 purchased 3/17
Visually a nice, neat unit but owing to safety concerns not yet been installed by the builders/electrician. From customer support: charming prior to sale & curt afterwards 'Fit for purpose', sarcasm, silence.

Repeatedly asked for heat resistance rating of cable. Eventually we spotted very faint string of numbers debossed (opposite of emboss) on the cable include H05VV-F (meaning resistant to 60C). Pity the suppliers couldn't tell us.

The seemingly uninsulated rear of the panel gets very hot, too hot to touch. Apart from the waste of energy warming up the party wall we are concerned about high temperature when left on for a prolonged period right next to power cable. To gauge safety margin have politely asked supplier for maximum expected temperature. No response.

On CAB and Trading Standards advice have requested a return/refund.
A very frustrating experience so far. We were keen to use this new technology.
