Guy made this transaction so much easier than it could have been. I appreciate his help.

Hello, we are In House... and we're here to make it easy for you to move home (and maybe even enjoy the journey too). In House was founded by Steve Puddifoot in 2007. After working as a regional director for the two largest estate agency chains in the UK, Steve decided that house sellers deserve straight talking honest advice and their properties needed modern dynamic marketing methods. So In House was born! Since then we've helped hundreds of people move on with their lives in every way, and after opening our second branch in the busy Orchard centre in Didcot we have become the most recognisable and dynamic agent in the area. So, how have we done it? Why do our properties get more attention and stand out from others? Is it our carefully chosen team of property experts? Is it our obsessive attention to detail? Or is it simply that if you do a fantastic job people spread the word? One thing is for sure, we are here for you from our sale boards to keys. Whether you need a cleaner, solicitor or just a chat, we will be what you need, when you need it. That’s our promise to you. This is us and we are on your team - lets sell your home!

In House Wallingford were superb
In House Wallingford was a pleasure to deal with from the start, from our Estate Agent Guy who was very personable, professional with excellent communication skills, coupled with his knowledge of the area which really helped to secure a very quick sale on a quirky house to Annie on the sales progression team who was superb, we were kept up to date with regular communication and the sale went very smoothly. Would not hesitate to recommend In House, it was a pleasure to work with them.

Inhouse estate agents we're very good…
Inhouse estate agents we're very good with the sale of our property. The initial contact, consultation, communication and assisting with all other parties in the chain including solicitors was exceptionally good. They were excellent in keeping a record of potential buyers when the first buyer fell through with the speed and communication in responding to our requests was surprisingly well done.
I would use InHouse estate agents again for any future house sales.

Knowledgeable, friendly and professional
Philip, Annie and the team were always pleasant, helpful and efficient in marketing and, perhaps more importantly, progressing our sale. They kept us fully informed throughout the whole process, liaising with solicitors and our buyer to ensure everyone was fully appraised of progress. Everyone in the team knew who we were and were always able to answer any questions we had. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family or friends.

We were very happy the way in house felt with our sale of our property as they kept us updated regularly and the sale went through as promised.

Really professional and generally great…
Really professional and generally great service. In my opinion, their approach to setting achievable asking prices is the way to get your house sold. My only grumble was that the sales progression didn't really happen until we started to chase for updates. In comparison to the local estate agent we bought our house through (always disorganised, booked us in to see the wrong property...it goes on), In House are a cut above. I'd certainly chose them to sell my property in the future.

We recently purchased a house in Didcot
We recently purchased a house in Queensway, Didcot through In House Estate Agents and were impressed from start to finish. Luke and Vanessa handled our sale and were excellent, we always received quick replies to any questions and they went above and beyond to educate us as first time buyers as to each next step. We spoke to Phil on several occasions who was always super friendly, new exactly who we were and what stage our sale was at. Highly recommend.

One of the worst moves of my life
House move was horrendous!
The agents sorted out the removal company for me and I accepted, assuming they would be an expert in this field and would provide me with a decent service.
I had all weekend to find a man with a van but I thought the agents would be good at sorting this, so I decided not to worry. I was going to move all my furniture downstairs but I was told that the 'movers' would do all this for me.
On move day a couple of men turned up in a flat pack trailer, which had a dirty pool of water floating on it, I rang the agents, they said 'people are trying to move in whatever they can get right now', trying to make a joke out of the situation.
As you can imagine I was in a state! I didn't get the keys until 5pm for new property and I am a single woman with no family nearby moving a 3 bed house! I had a friend who was helping but there was no way my furniture - new fabric bed and sofas were going on a wet tip run truck!
I spent the morning trying to get shrink wrap so that my belongings could go on this truck in a way that they wouldn't get damaged. The removal men told me they only had 2 hours so couldn't hang around.
In the end I told them to leave and still paid them £100 for moving some heavy cabinets and drawers, which were then in the new property garage, luckily the previous owner had given me garage keys!! The rest of the day was spent loading my mini and my parents left work and drove 2 hours to me to help! they came around 1pm.
I managed to get a man with a van to help move the heavy items at 3pm, this happened on my 4th call to get some help so I do not accept that everyone was booked up due to the stamp duty deadline!
I managed to make all these arrangements on my own, In House did not do anything to help my situation at all on this day, and to receive a message to ask me if I had moved at 6pm was a kick in the teeth!
Not to mention new owners turning up as they had booked in a food delivery for 7pm! Obviously advised by In House as being ok to do!
In the end I did a quick clean and had to leave some of my belongings behind.
Prior to the move, In house had been good at selling the property quickly and were realistic in the selling price, my property sold on the first day of viewing.
But needless to say I wouldn't ever use In House again as I never got a proper apology for this at all, no reimbursement, nothing.
This could have happened to anyone, and they may not have had family to give up work to help out or be able to get friends involved finding a man with a van etc.
I hope this honest review prevents this happening again.
You could ask no more!
I have used In-House on several occasions over the past year, to both buy and sell property. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and obliging and it was a pleasure to deal with such competent and efficient people.
Added to this they have a Progressor, who liaises between the buyer, the seller and the solicitor, to keep the transaction moving along which helps enormously in making the whole process as pain free as possible. Overall excellent.

Harassing phonecalls
I will never be using Inhouse Estate Agents. Due to being first time buyers, we had our deposits in ISA which required up to 2 weeks for the funds to be accessed. I asked inhouse whether any of our sellers wanted to take advantage of the stamp duty holiday that was reducing at the end of June. I gave them the deadline of 18th june to allow us to get our deposits sorted. They said no one required it. Then on the 23rd june, they said can you exchange on the 29th june. I obviously told them no, it would be impossible. Then inhouse said our sellers threatened to pull out of the chain.
Inhouse were harassing me with phone calls and emails prior to exchanging and completing in june/july. I was sick with covid and told them I would be unable to leave the house to print things, and they tried to have us complete during my 10 day isolation period. I think their treatment of us as buyers was ridiculous. They definitely made buying our first home an even more stressful event than it should have been.
Best Estate Agents in the area
In House Estate agents are the best Estate agents in the area. I can't praise them enough Phil Hamp and his team were great to deal with. In House provided us with excellent service throughout the sale of our property.

The InHouse team worked with us through some very difficult months of finding buyers, losing buyers, finding a house to buy, losing a house to buy, bidding for houses, losing out on bids until they finally found the perfect new home for us!
