I have worn hearing aids for 8 years…

I have worn hearing aids for 8 years (loss due to MS) I had good luck with Oticon but my local audiologist is no longer practicing so I ordered the latest version of what I wear at Injoy. Their pricing was fair (thus the 1 star) but the service just abominable. I specifically asked if they were returnable if they didn't work for me and did they pay return shipping. I was told yes on both accounts. I sent them my latest hearing audiogram (local audiologist who could not seem to get the aids for me) and they sent me the aids. They were insufficient so made what I thought would be a zoom appt to have them adjusted. It was a phone appt and was about 4 min where the hearing aid specialist just amped up the sound. I had clarity issues but he was unresponsive to those. Told to try this setting. I did to no avail. Next appt was with a different hearing aid specialist and he too upped the volume but the clarity issue was not resolved. Final appt was told this was the best they could do. I called to return them and was sent to 3 different depts until I was told to leave a message for "David" who was not in his office. I did and he did return my call, offering me an exchange for Phonak. I was also told I would be "seen" by an audiologist not a hearing aid specialist. I declined. His tone was one of anger and he gave me the address in FL to send them back. I asked who paid the return and would a label be sent to me. No - it was no responsibility to return them at my cost. The cost was $60 to send them back with signature required as at this point I no longer had any trust in this organization. All the positive reviews must be written by AI and not real customers. All I can say is customer beware as the service here is nebulous at best and the return policy nonexistent. I am now wearing Jabra with Zoom visits with an audiologist with a firm return appt to readjust if needed and if needed before a 24 hour hotline. Injoy is closed on the weekends including "service" so if your aids have a problem on a weekend you deal until Monday when you are told the soonest appt is on Thursday. The one star is for price. They did save me$1500 below local cost. Jabra is half the price and they work (so far) for me but I have a 100 day trial period not the 60 day period from Injoy and in writing guarantee they pay return costs. Think hard prior to using this company.
