Inkpaw makes fine oil portraits of the pets we love, printed and finished in Britain. You send one photograph, the kind you already have on your phone. Good light and both eyes showing is the whole brief. We create the portrait using AI, rendered in the style of a classical oil painting, and then direct and refine it by hand until it is unmistakably your pet rather than a stranger who happens to share their colouring. You see the finished portrait and approve it before anything is ever printed. If it is not right, we do it again, at no cost to you. Only once you have signed it off does it go to press. Every commission is printed on 400gsm museum-grade canvas with archival pigment inks, stretched by hand over a 38mm gallery bar, and boxed with corner protectors so it arrives on your wall exactly as it left the atelier. Everything is made to order in the United Kingdom and dispatched quickly, never drop-shipped from overseas. Each portrait is entered in our commission ledger under its own number. No. 0001 is Cali, our founder's own dog and the first portrait we ever made. Every commission since gets the same test: would we hang it in our own home. We also make memorial portraits from whatever photograph you still have, however old, however small, however blurred. There is no wrong photograph. Our promise is simple. You approve it before we print, and you have one hundred days to ask us to repaint it or refund you. No return postage, no argument. Portraits from £69, with UK delivery included. Reigate, Surrey.

I had a really good experience with…

I had a really good experience with Inkpaw. Everything felt easy and straightforward, and they kept me updated about the process. The final result honestly turned out better than I expected and I love the painting. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and quick to help, and my order arrived on time with no stress. It just felt like a company that does things properly, and I’d happily use them again.
