I ordered a size XL t-shirt to support…

I ordered a size XL t-shirt to support a group raising money for their academy class. I received a medium. I've made multiple attempts to contact them and have requested the correct size or a refund...NO RESPONSE! Don't be cheated by these people! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Actually NO CUSTMOER SERVICE!

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience, I got an email saying my order was "Going to printing" which was over 30 days ago and the order is still listed as "Processing" have emailed multiple times, tried calling numerous times, and send messages over social media. At this point, my only option seems to be trying to get my money back from the bank.

19 days and still counting.... Still no dispatch.

Update - Finally got a full refund after constant emails, Being ignored. Thank god this is over, I will never order from this company again, The customer service is truly awful.

Update 27/4/21 - Received an email from there paypal email address stating they would refund the shipping due to lack of communication on the 26/4/21 and was told they would should be able to ship the next day (the 27th) Well no shipment on the 27th either so i requested a refund and they said they will refund but as of yet nothing.

Update 26/4/21 - Have emailed twice again and still no reply, I have facebooked messaged also and no reply. Their Customer service is non existent.

Im not an unreasonable man, During a pandemic i understand delays will happen. I have worked through out lockdown myself so of course delays can happen, But it has been 17 days since the order was placed and my item still has yet to even dispatch. Completely unacceptable.

Several emails sent and I have been replied to twice on the same day by two different people, One to say “I have no idea why its taking so long but will find out and get back to you” which i have received no further reply, Then another saying “Its getting ready for print” 17 days and its only just getting ready to print?? Nah, sorry, unacceptable.

The customer service is appaulling, The delay in shipping times would be fine if they even put a notice on their site stating of said delays. The site says in the US items will be received within two weeks and International may take longer, But they do not state how long it takes to even send the damn item first.

I honestly would not bother buying from these guys, Save yourself the headache. Most items are for a good cause but this site and the customer service is just off putting and leaves much to be desired.

Ink to the People vs Custom Ink

I started with Custom Ink, but got so frustrated with what appeared to me to be a quota driven operation, that I Googled and found Ink to the People. This is a night and day comparison. My website is a non partisan voter info site. I wanted to use VOTE type t-shirts to let people know how easily they could get all the info they need.

Ink to the People is a "people first" company more focused on quality than quantity. Every customer counts. They “got” what I needed from the first conversation. And while they are a much smaller operation, they also are a national company. It never ceases to amaze me how they can manage the quality and level of service they provide.

Custom Ink wanted me to start with a 48 shirt campaign - the exact opposite of what I needed to do. I needed small targeted t-shirt messaging campaigns to be effective.

Custom Ink seemed not to care what I wanted, got snippy when I tried to get them to listen, assured me I would have no problem reaching the larger sales they said I needed to start with, kept talking about the money I'd make - despite my telling them I'd be using the "profits" to buy more shirts and give them away.

The biggest comparison between the two is how they handle pricing. Custom Ink only finalized a quantity and price after design approval and committing to order.

Ink To The People agreed I needed multiple campaigns with different shirt designs/colors and totes. All at lower prices to the consumer. And I can make changes to any campaign up to the time of its first sale.

Needless to say, I’ve found Ink to the People to be solidly worth 5 stars.
