Inner dolphin awakening whale swim
Jan and Annika arranged a trip to swim with whales in Moorea. The price i paid was for either a shared or private bathroom. When arriving 4 adults were in the upstairs bedrooms sharing a bathroom. There was not a shower or shower curtain or door. Just a 1/2 tub with hand held water sprayer. We were in the ocean every day and cold when we got home but no shower. In my room there were no sheets on the bed. I had to request sheets and they were thrown on bed for me to make the bed. I then asked for a blanket. After two days when I continued to ask, Jan finally placed some heavier blankets for me to use. However he thought there should be no need for that. He arranged the whale watching with the cheapest company. The one day he could not get his cheap company we had a much better and more comfortable boat. Six people are allowed in the water. However with Jan and Annika (the hosts) it was eight people. So they made both the boat and the swims more crowded. They would swim right in Front of you with their cameras cutting you off. At one time we saw dolphins from the boat. Both of them rushed forward blocking the entire view from front of boat. They have no regard for anyone but themselves. They of course had a large lovely bedroom downstairs with full shower and bath. They invited us to dinner one night to a very touristy restaurant. Annaka simply didn’t go. The. Jan asked us all to pay (after we had paid for them
To have the nicest room in The home). The last day they left early at 5 am to go to beach together and did not say goodbye to the group. We were all up at 5am. But Jan and Annika left
Via their side door. They describe themselves as spiritual and in touch with the whales. They simply want a trip and are happy to have people pay their way taking all the nicest things.
My suggestion if you want to swim with whales is to find your own accommodation, book your own excursion and find your own restaurants. Jan and Annika add no value to this experience. In fact they make it more crowded. They are not necessary to be there
