Had a fab experience here for an impromptu supper on a Monday night! The bar staff were so friendly and the food so good - we had a sharing fish platter and it was delicious - we will def be back and will def tell all our pals about this under advertised over achieving watering hole!
Good luck if you can find it, because despite it posing as an actual restaurant, it is a hotel breakfast room posing as a steak house. The veal was not bad but very heavy on the salt (nothing special for the expense). However, the service was embarrassing, way over familiar and poor. The focus of the waiters was a single table of young ladies, who were being plied with free cocktails from the bar all evening. Loud and boorish; the staff that is. Find a proper restaurant with professional staff (more likely to be a decent hotel restaurant) when in Keswick.
