I found these as an alternative to the Altra XT-3 Solstice, which I wanted to avoid after reading terrible reviews of that "latest model." I needed a replacement zero-rise cross training shoe. AI (ChatGPT) revealed this brand to me. These shoes are virtually zero-rise, (only 4mm, close enough to zero for me) and I like that these have more of a normal foot silhouette, as opposed to the Altras which are kinda clown-shoe-like. I wear them for HIIT workouts on a concrete floor, incline treadmill walking, and riding my spin bike. They are light, I love the mesh upper that gives breathability, they have great cushioning that's minimal but still enough to give me cushion on a concrete floor, and I like the heel cup which provides stability for squats and lunges. For me, they are a GREAT alternative to avoid the new Altra Solstice XT-3. The only thing is, I am bummed they only had my size in the white. Speaking of... FYI on sizes! Anyone who is complaining about the sizes being off, you MUST do the sizing technique that this site recommends. I ended up trying on both a 10 and 10.5 in this shoe, and I went with the 10.5 where normally I wear a US 9.5 or 10 shoe.
