I'm a photographer with the same name (Sarah Brownlow). I have had at least 6 people chasing me for money or photos/videos that were promised and not delivered. This is bad for my professional reputation as this is definitely not me.
I hear in these people how sad, disappointed and let down they all have been by these people. I would avoid I'm sorry.

Please don’t use for a special occasion. We only received half of our wedding photos from 2020. We had to chase over the course of a year and were met with promise after promise when they felt like actually messaging us back but we havent received everything and it was a fight to get what we do have. The worry and stress caused was not worth it. I now do not have any of the pictures with my mum and bridesmaids getting ready together and only some of the ones from the actual day. Occasions of memories you can never get back or replace. Breaks my heart to think back on. It’s just not right. I wish they would have just given us the negatives and I’d have edited them myself if I had to 🤦🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately the bad reviews are accurate. Our wedding was rearranged due to Covid, and while Mason Brownlow and Sarah Brownlow were initially very helpful at rescheduling our dates, we couldn't contact Sarah for months before the wedding. Sarah then pulled out of covering our wedding with 6 days notice. They had been paid in full from confirmation of the booking. We're now well over a year later and while we had a payment plan Sarah was using to repay us, they still owe us £679 and have blocked us despite promising to return our money.

The stress caused is unbelievable, and given the recommendation to use Instawedding came from a close friend who used to work with Mason, it's hugely surprising and disappointing. We just want the remainder of our money back so we can move on.

We're hoping to resolve this by the end of July to avoid having to take this further, but are expecting to have to escalate.

If i could give less then I would. We got married in 2017 and the service was absolutely shocking. We are so so so gutted that we chose these con artists and trusted them with our day. We are 3 years on and have only just received some of our package after we hired a solicitor.
The quality of everything is shoddy - the package was crushed, our ‘album’ was merely a ‘photo book’ I could have made myself on vista print! We paid almost £2k for this. We have said nothing until now as have been fobbed off with so many stories from them but I just have to warn others never ever use this company - please just steer clear.
3 years on and still missing half of what we paid for. What an absolute con.

Avoid like the plague. We got married in 2017 and still haven’t received our video, had any communication back or any refund. They just ignore us! A week after we got married a family member died so it would have been great to watch the video back. But no!!! I hope they can sleep at night

Would give 0 if possible. Only used insta wedding for videography thankfully. Probably the biggest cons we have ever been involved with. Before the wedding we didn't even know if they were going to turn up with the lack of communication and confirmation given. After the wedding it got even worst. We specifically asked for our speeches to be recorded for our family on NZ who couldn't attend so they could watch and listen. Only specific request we made. They never recorded the audio but to make it worse they ignored us after numerous emails before finally getting in touch to be promised they would send us across all the footage they had whilst they were trying to get the missing audio from the speeches "fixed". Please people if you value and treasure your special day stay away from these gangsters. We got married in May 2019 and still have not recieved the "audio" for the speeches as we know this was never even recorded. Video was also very poor and shockingly put together but we are fed up of chasing anymore as they just continue to feed us lies after lies. Stay away.

A troll wrote a negative review on January 2nd - must be reflecting on a rough year with lack of wedding work because at the same time this post was put up friends were sharing their post on social media begging for work!
As you can tell this is a sensitive subject to me that I feel obliged to comment on because Sarah and Mason who run Insta Wedding have become friends of mine and are trying their very best to continue to run their business despite still being trolled by a ‘competitor’
Their work is second to none and the videography from my wedding captured moments that will never be seen again (having lost my father last year) everything was on time and I would have been happy to wait, people become too fixated on weddings and not actually on the marriage.
And maybe if people sympathised with the fact this amazing woman beat cancer twice whilst raising two sons instead of slamming her to the ground the world would be a happier place. So - troll if you are reading this concentrate on your own ‘successful’ business rather than being a jealous bully. As they say ‘whoever is trying to bring you down is already below you’

Unbelievable talent from both Sarah & Mason. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting trendy creative photography, videography. !!! They really know their game.

Insta wedding are incredibly professional - I’ve heard nothing but amazing reviews. I can’t wait for them to do our wedding after incredible engagement pics.
Their work is creative, individual and delivered very swiftly (ignore the bad reviews - they’re not legit and I can only imagine it’s coming from threatened people!)

Used Insta Wedding a few months ago and we were blown away by the unique photos and film. They fit in so well and were an amazing part of our day. Helpful fun and really down to earth.

Took us two years to get our video, shocking communication, stressful and can’t even look at it now. There were only a couple of photos that were magical but the others just normal... feel so disappointed with what was produced and we are not trolls ... just want people not to have the same experience

UPDATE - for people on here saying we are threatened and trolls that’s a lie and shame on you as this is a true story regarding our experience - you are most likely related to them in some way giving false reviews! My name is on here so you can contact me direct to ask MARRIED 3 YEARS AGO AND VIDEO WAS NEVER PRODUCED - do not use this company, totally unprofessional and dismissive. Me and my husband got married in Jan 2017. I work in the wedding industry and had briefly worked with Sarah on a project so thought I would book her for my wedding day at the same time that I recommended her on a big project to film my work with a popular bridal Magazine. The magazine were planning to feature our work across their social channels, which a massive opportunity for us all! Unfortunately, and to cut a 3 year long story short, these guys messed up and deleted my wedding video without backing it up and the work project was never to be seen, thus ruining our opportunity and our most precious memories of our wedding day!! On speaking to other videographers they are so shocked that this could ever have happened as backIng up is the first thing you would do! As a reasonable person I realise that human error has occurred here but the way they treated me in the process has been the most shocking, as if I’m annoying them whenever I write to them to check in, they take no responsibility whatsoever. I have held back from writing any review as they have both lied and dangled the carrot along the way saying they are still searching for the deleted videos via a technical company that could hopefully recover the videos (again I was never sent any proof of the company working on this so would never know if that was true). To make it worse they didn’t even call me to let me know that my video had been deleted, just a text from Mason about 8 months later, seriously unprofessional! They also should have offered me a refund without question but instead gave me 2 options - 1. Get the refund and we stop looking for the video 2. We keep looking for the video and no refund!!! A very unfair offer considering the scale of the mess! At first I was too scared to ask for the refund as this meant zero hope of ever getting those precious moments back! I have asked them to let me know once this process had ended so I could draw a line under it once and for all and to this day I have never had that answer or closure. Seriously unprofessional and lacking in experience, integrity and compassion. I’ve since lost some very important people in that video so a warning to all to not use them if you want a guaranteed wedding video at the end of it!! At your own risk as I know many other couples had the same problem if you look into it!

My husband and I got married in September. It was the best day ever and I always want to reminis and because of Insta-wedding we can do that! Sarah and Alex captured everything so beautifully! From the pre shoot to the wedding photos and video, all which were perfect. They are a very unique company and I haven't seen any other photographers like them before. If you want to have something a little different from the standard wedding photos/videos, then Insta Wedding is the company for you.
We felt so comfortable with Sarah and Alex too they were so friendly and really just fitted into the wedding day like friends.
I would definitley recommend them to anyone. The final package we received was amazing. We got a lovely photo book, large print and loads of Polaroids which we thought was cool and different. We also got memory sticks with all photos and videos on. Ellie took our pre shoot photos who was also really lovely and we felt so comfortable with her. The photos were fab, it's a nice idea to have a pre shoot as you get the feel of what the wedding photos and style will be like.
The whole team we spoke to throughout the wedding planning including Emma who I spoke to a lot, were really helpful and lovely. I could email and text them whenever and they would always get back to help answer any questions I had.

I have a lot of photographers in my family, but wanted them to be part of my day. We searched high and low for a look we wanted. And couldn’t find anything that suited us until we found insta wedding! Even though they are a London based company they did not hesitate to travel up north to meet to discuss our ideas and then again for our pre shoot, may I add this was all whole Sarah was dealing with cancer. She never mentioned this and constantly give us the beat feeling due to being camera shy they made me feel so relaxed. On the wedding day itself the team blended in with our family and every absolutes loved them and just assumed they were friends! Exactly the vibe we wanted. We received edited photos before we got to bed! My family who are professionals were blown away with the quality. Every photo was outstanding and I found it so hard to pick favourites! Our packages arrived and where just perfect, I’m just disappointed I can’t get married again to use them. I’ve recommended them to all my friends who have gone on to use them and are also blown away by the professionalism. I am heart broken that trolls seem to get away with these ridiculous reviews, If anyone would like to contact me personally, feel free I can gush all day about the amazing service we received. I got married in Dec 2016. To date I still do not have my video. To cut a long story short, lots of lies and false promises. Very similar to all the other poor reviews. I agree does make me wonder are the good reviews fake? I also know of two other people personally who are still awaiting package. I am in the process of starting court action but the address that the company has is no longer the correct address. I sent a letter via recorded delivery and it was returned. Can anyone private message me if they have further details or themselves have started court action. I beg anyone reading this who is thinking of using this company. Please please don’t. We had the perfect wedding day and I think back now with great sadness that we do not have a copy of our precious day. To share with our children and grandchildren one day. I think the people that own this company must be wicked to do this to people on what is meant to be the happiest day of their lives. How can they sleep at night knowing the heartache and stress they have caused people? Edit Jan 2020 - I have just come across sadly more poor reviews and people being let down. I have since got a County Court Judgement against Insta Wedding to try and get my money back as sadly I have come to realise I shall never get my video. I have discovered two things 1) They was trying to get there original company Insta Wedding Limited dissolved as a business. This was trading under a old address. I asked this to be stopped due to my CCJ and it has been put on hold till March 2020. They have also started a new company INSTAWEDDINGUK LTD. My CCJ asking them to pay back my payment, due to broken contract has now been sent to the address that the company is registered to. Still no response. Please look them up on company house. My next step is to instruct bailiffs but I am doubtful this address is even correct. I am not a competitor trying to ruin or steal their business. Please message me or look me up on Facebook. Kelly Williams. I would share my email address on here but trust pilot does not allow you. It shall not let me. I did just try. I have all email proof I can share of how rude they was to me, CCJ’s etc. I am just an heartbroken bride that really wants to stop other people going through what we did. Like the Jan bride above whenever our anniversary comes around you recall your day with happiness but part of you is deeply sad as you have no memories to look back on and share with loved ones. This is want probably made the Jan 2017 bride post a bad review not due to a bad start to the new year. I would say the only fake reviews are the good ones! They even took to creating a fake assistant called Emma who would respond to my emails in the end. I must say Emma was very passionate about her job emailing me at very late hours! Well it was obviously them. Very strange behaviour. Oh and two last points if I am a fake company trying to ruin your business please name and shame this company!!! And if you look at dates positive reviews posted always follow bad reviews. Please don’t take the chance with the happiest day of your life. If my loss and true words can stop even one couple going through what we did then I shall be thankful. I will keep you all updated with my quest to get my money back!!

I am so glad I booked Insta-wedding to photograph my wedding! Definitely the stand out best wedding relayed decision I made. Insta-wedding were professional, caring, friendly and approachable from start to finish!
I had a boudoir shoot with Insta- wedding.g before the wedding my and although I was nervous before hand was so so relaxed during the shoot and had a really great time as Sarah (photographer) put me at ease- Sarah was creative, relaxed and we had a laugh together through the shoot. And to top it.off the photos are incredible!

On our wedding day Inst-wedding not only took amazing photos of everything, everyone we wanted them to and more but they also showed true patience, a relaxed nature and a really fun side while remaining professional.

So many of my guests commented on not only how beautiful our photos are but also how lovely the photographer from Insta-wedding was!

I am so happy with my wedding photos and would recommend Insta-wedding to anyone planning a wedding or event!

We couldn't have been happier with our wedding photos and our video. They travelled to Herefordshire last June and caught every aspect of our day perfectly. We chose Insta Wedding because of their artistic style. Mason took our photos and thanks to his talent and ability to see the beauty in the most simple of backgrounds, we received beautiful and unique photos.
I liked the fact that they didn't take many formal photos as they really caught the atmosphere of the day.
Emma filmed our day and the video was perfect. It was very professional and we have watched it so many times.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Insta Wedding. They are lovely, kind people and we were over the moon with the final package.

So her are my three positive ones.

I hired insta wedding in june 17 for my wedding. To cut a very long story short we had all our pictures, album and Usb after threatening legal action in august 18, so over a year. I had a £100 refund due off them due to the state of our first album, where they felt necessary to send an album with heads cut off on over 12 pictures. The polaroids had someones elses pictures amongst them. The Usb still doesnt work and i cannot be bothered to contact them. Communications dire with empty promises along the way. I posted a comprehensive review of their 'services' on you and your wedding forum along with attachments of the album they state they put together with "love". Im a 100% These recent reviews are all fake and a shoddy attempt at trying to gain back some business. No reviews on here for months, then all of a sudden an influx of positive reviews by "people" all writing their first reviews within days of each other 😂😂😂😂. I know of couple STILL waiting for videos. Desperate springs to mind. Dont be fooled and dont waste your money

I came across Insta Wedding at A Most Curious Wedding Fair which I went to specifically for the type of suppliers that exhibit there. Insta Wedding fit this 'type' perfectly! They are different, quirky, fun and extremely talented. It makes me feel incredibly sad to read some of the negative reviews here as it may dissuade someone from booking a supplier that genuinely added SO much to our day. They captured the memories perfectly, their passion and eye are unmatched. If you are looking for cheesy, posed traditional wedding photographers, then they perhaps aren't the ones for you, but if you want kind, unflappable, genuine, hardworking photographers, snap Insta Wedding up. You will NOT regret it.
